Has anyone tried MvC3 with this method? I know MvC3 does not have AP2.5 (at least that's what ppl are saying) but I keep getting Play Game -> Disc Read Error when I try to run it. Image was patched with abgx, everything looked fine and other games(NFSMW, Fable 3, AC:B + other non AP2.5 games, ex. DS2, Majin, Halo Reach) run fine. Also the disc is fine as i've also tried it out on a friends box(he has the pre-kinect dash) and the game ran fine.

Im playing all new games with this method,no problems at all...but I have no idea what's causing your problem.

Just sounds like your dvd-drive is failing, it will problably breaks down not too long from now.

Will this method work with Bulletstorm? I saw that Bulletstorm have a mandatory dashboard update on the disc, so I'm wondering if that update will mess up this method?!

That's what I thought, but it plays/installs everything else fine from disc.

Tried about 20 games, all played of disc and then installed a few, everything worked fine. Well fuck, I really don't know wtf's wrong with it.
Hmmm, I did changed my HDD last week(got a BVET2500 and hacked that) after I put that in the x360 I tried a few games and when I tried NFSHP it asked me for the update, witch was weird coz I already did that 2 month ago, after right after I did the update hack in this thread. So I applied the update again but NFSHP worked fine, so did ACB and Fable 3. Now MvC3 is the only game that does that.

But this game will work right? There's not that many great games which have ap2.5 lol, besides Hot Pursuit.

LT+ is the way to go...no mistake there..
Ive read somewhere that new dash activates ap 2.5 in Modern Warfare 2 , Halo Reach and Black Ops and ofc those that cobALT mentioned won't work.
Im not in hurry to play this cause I can play it on PC too...so no go for me this time.

As I said many times , I can't do it myself...I will probably need to solder again and I don't have that skills..most important thing that is difficult for me to find someone here to do it for me.x360 is not that popular here..most ppl are PC gamers only.

I am hoping this is where that USB Flash device the_legend2k7 mentioned in the slim hack thread, will change things. I have to send my box to someone in order to flash/update the fw, and it's a real bother to not have it for 3-4 days. Thought about doing it myself but there are so may tools out there and stuff you may or may not need that it's too much of a hassle. Also I'd rather not brick the damn thing.

I was bored today so I decided to update dashboard anyway just to play Bulletstorm.Im playing offline and I don't care about Fable 3 cause it's awful , I finished ACB and I don't think Im gonna play it again...and I played NFS HP on my PC..so fuck it then I say and after updating Fable 3 and ACB are not working.  So,just to let u guys know..if u want to play those games or upcoming ap 2.5 games without dash update on disc don't do it . This will happen sooner or later so I screwed myself intentionally other games works fine tho..at least Im playing Bulletstorm.
Gonna dl only non ap 2.5 games now , and wait for opportunity to flash it with LT+ .

Is it safe to update the beta dashboard since c4eva says it flashes the drive i wanted to play MK3 but it has new dashboard should i update via that ? after updating beta dashboard ?

People seems to update the new dashboard and still can play the game , not sure what happens to rest of the games , new checks unknown ?
