Yeah but I'm a lazy and low-tech mofo, so I only have the script when I play the game. 
BTW, just checked the unlock videos of prophet's flashbacks.
There are 7 videos that play as you progress through the campaign, but they aren't that helpful explaining the loose ends from the previous games and characters.

There are 3 chooices, gamer, advanced and hardcore. I guess gamer is lowest right?

Yes and they work. (Well I haven't tried advanced but the other two work)

eh its just multiplayer content.
now if youd be raging about single player dlc items that break the game, like what happened with dragon age, then yeah.. agree.. but multiplayer.. meh... that shit wont save them when the hackers hit the servers, and instakill the players with their fancy limited edition guns n shit.

yes, because it will be very valid there, as i know the game comes prepackaged with overpowered bullshit dlc gear that will... like every other game that has similar shit... break the game.
rant is also valid in witcher 2 thread as well, because that comes with bullshit overpowered dlc too.

Advanced settings 1280x800 30+fps all the time. nice

try adding
d3d9_TextureFilter = TRILINEAR

r_EnvTexResolution = 3
r_HDRForceUpdateTextures = 1
r_TexturesStreaming = 0
r_DynTexMaxSize = 160
r_DynTexAtlasSpritesMaxSize = 64
r_DynTexAtlasCloudsMaxSize = 64
r_TexAtlasSize = 1024
these are not the highest quality settings but i think it will help with the resolution you're playing on.

does this game EVER let you play a sequence where you get to be driven around while you mow shit down with the mounted gun? thats TWICE so far ive gotten to sit in the gun seat and not do fuck all with it... i hope that in the final game theres atleast one sequence (unless theres one in the last 5 missions or something that i havent reached yet), otherwise its just a giant cock-tease...
i mean.. for a cod wannabe, ill be very surprised if i dont get to man a mounted gun while im driven around... thats like a core feature of the console fps genre isnt it?

eh... crysis 2 maps are very nicely made, and packed with some great detail.. but like i said earlier, the progression of the levels and the pacing is crap, compared to hl2.. which was quite linear and had smaller maps, but atleast the progression flowed together smoothly giving the feeling of a large gameworld in bite-sized chunks.
by contrast, crysis 2 feels like a bunch of themed arenas... so visually its exciting, but from a gameplay/story/immersive environment point of view, i find it to be kinda removes me from the game, and MY experience suffers for it.
BUT i AM willing to say that the beta did impress me enough (that is to say i dont find it crap, boring, or TOO generic to enjoy) that i do consider the full game worth getting.
not worthy PAYING for, though. fuck no.
