Does the samsung drive in the xbox support dvd+r dual layer? I am just wondering for now and for future reference.

How did you got past the DVD5 version? I haven't seen it anywhere yet, not even the nfo to be honest... 
But its sad if most movies were taken away...

Any idea how badly the release was butchered to fit on a DVD5? Is it REALLY worth me running to the store and spending $10 on a DVD9?

dvd5 pretty much a pointless rls was rushed imho so they could be first decent grp woulda downsampled movies etc etc or split it across 2 disks took some time over doing it right

SO the dvd5 release is a butcherd version of the orginal (missing ingame videos??). I sthere a other way to make the dvd9 fit on a dvd5 witouth loosing much of the game, like splinter cell CT where you only had tp remove the extra languages..

can we not work out ourselves how to get this to fit on a dvd 5 and keep the movies ??? come on u brainy ppl start thinking.
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

PATIENCE PEOPLE
good lord...let some people get the game and work on it first. to have a quality DVD5, it takes some time. besides, it'll still fit on the stock Xbox HDD...play it from there for now until someone comes up with a better method for a DVD5.
and yes, to confirm...you have to have the bonus disk to get the extra character as it's part of the Limited Edition offer.

my "Stock HD" is only 4,5 gb, with no game installed on it. I know its strange cause I know they have a capacity of 8gb. SO where is my other 3,5 gb?? Im running evox (installed with slayer) and I also have the standard dashboard. DO you think maybey my save games took all of my hd size

So does the Rad Tools thingy work? I simply can't wait for a proper DVD5.
I simply need to play this game within the next couple hours or i'll throw myself out of the window and you'll read "A game kills yet another one" on all news sites!!!

Yeah i've started to compress them at 40% of the original and.. gosh .. this is gonna take forever ..
Still .. better a custom made DVD5 with toned down but all movies than a rushed out release.
I appreciate the efforte to bring it to us as soon as possible but .. taking away all those movies is simply pointless, especially since the strong point of the game it's the story.

Just run the bonus disc from the hd like usual and do what it says. I don't see why there should be any difference.
I think the bonus disc simply loads the extra stuff onto HD so the game can find it.

so the LE contains the game and a bonus cd.
the LE edition is 100x50mb. the bonus cd is 45x50mb
so that makes the game 55x 50 mb (2,8 gb), so why cant it fit on a dvd5????

The "limited edition" disc is just the game. The extra bonus content is on the bonus disc so in total the game is 150x50MB

its 7.5 gig with the extra disc included aint it?
worst comes to worst just put the main game on the hard drive and the extra disc on dvd-r....
one question if i burn the dvd9 to dual layer disc and it doesn boot properly can i then use the disc to rip it to the xbox hard drive or is the only way to do it through ftp with yuor PC
