GG double standard against PC pirating.
Just about every console game gets leaked before release and they just ignore it.
How do open the console in this game? the ~ key does nothing. Do i need to bind it in some sorta config file? i need to run a exec my config.cfg from in-game.

There is indeed less pirating on consoles. However this isn't the reason they are switching over to those.

This beta leak and stuff going around it looks more and more like some new uber-marketing strategy. If you heard about "stealth marketing" this could be a new step, called "suicidal or mercy marketing". You release your product for free and start (far)crying about terorris..., sorry, evil pirates who wants to destroy you. Then all of a sudden everybody wants to save your ass and preorder the game. I know they didn't intend it in first place but now they have perfect pre-release campaign, million of beta testers, and new moto "Please buy or our company will die!".
Out of curiosity, how many of you who finished SP campagin wil play it again after official version is out?

ill play the retail sp again. but i sure as fuck wont buy the game.
i found a way to turn on dx11, move cryengine_dx9.dll and d3dx*_42.dll to another folder. rename cryengine_dx11.dll to dx9 and download the d3dx11_42.dll from a dll site. run the game. displayinfo says... DX11 Very High
PD: no remember the exact name of the files. but are very similar.
AFAIK it won't work. You are still playing the dx9 version.

Install FRAPS, and tell me if the frame counter when you run the game is in a black box. If it is you are indeed running it in dx10+
If it isn't then you are running it in dx9.
