Hello all!
I'm teh n00b! But I have a sensible question.

I have a modded Xbox (Xecuter 3 CE), and I know I can tell it to play NTSC games, however, how can I tell if my TV will support NTSC?

I don't want to change it to NTSC, then find it doesn't support it, because I'll be left with no picture and no way of changing it back to PAL (unless someone knows otherwise?)

All that will happen on a Pal tv is the picture will go black and white if it doesn't support it ... its not so easy for NTSC users though, they get a rolling mess when trying to use PAL. Anyway just use the Evox auto setting (remember to set TSR=normal aswell). If you get a black and white picture you can buy a RGB lead to get round the problem.

note some games use region 0 which means they will run in the default setting for the eeprom of the xbox ...this is fine for NTSC on NTSC machine or PAL on PAL for which the game was meant for, but an NTSC region 0 game on a PAL machine or visa versa will run in the wrong mode and you will have to manualy set to the correct region (annoying).

also some NTSC games run fine (no choppy video) in PAL 60 mode.

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????
