i like it, best fight night yet, but the last fight is just ridiculous, its like tyson on the old tysons punchout. Survive for 2 rounds? i can barely do 1 on easiest difficulty. Total bullshit, devs need to learn when your replaying for the 20th time it isnt fucking fun anymore.
also why the fuck did they not include a bare knuckle mode? its in the championship mode, it would have been fucking awesome, EA will probably try to sell it further down the line.

I took about 4 attempts but the key is to not box, just circle. It's rigged that you will lose otherwise.

Yeah, circle for 2 rounds.
But when the game starts craving for you to deliver 75 powershots to the body, you have to box and thats when it gets hard.

The game looks stunning at times ! I was stuck watching one replay of some dude's jaw vibrating from a punch. Gotta love the attention to detail in terms of graphics.

Very short story mode, but good fun. last fight and ending was dissapointing though, felt like i had skipped the end movie somehow..

I'm using the combination of physical damage to the top and power to a 1/3 in. After about 8 rounds you start getting cuts.
Alternatively, just use one hand and one punch (i.e. left hook the whole entire time)
Edit: It's easier to get cuts if your an outside fighter. Jabs and the like. Inside fighting generally means power shots most of the way so fights end early.

uhm.. took me 7 hours 20 minutes to finish it on pro difficulty !! can you imagine how many times i "rematch"ed ? especially the last fight =D

Pure arcade-fest, punches lack any kind of power in them so fighters can get hit hundreds of times and not get damaged, punches are too quick, fighters move around the ring too quickly. Nice graphics and interesting champion mode but it's just your typical EA game aimed at arcade fans.

i love this game, best fight night ever... the fact there is finally a story in that kind of game motivated me to finally play this more than 10min and I love it so far.. feels like a ROcky movie !

same ! i didnt want to leech it after all the boreness of career mode in previous fight night games, but then I read a few reviews and they were pretty enthuasiasstic about this game so... I was like hey, it's free, you don't even need to burn it

wow, this is the first installment of a fighting game that doesnt bore me to death, that story mode should really get standard in those kind of games... Heck i would even play madden if it had a decent story mode.

the only problem about this is now they cant do every Fight Night like that, would be too much déjà vu, but hey, they could make 6 rocky movies so who knows ?
Gotta admit that this time EA surprised me and tried to innovate and didn't copy paste from last year game... I almost feel bad leeching this for 0€

Pretty good game after adjusting the sliders for a more realistic feel and much better than Fight Night Round 4 which i hated. Loved FNR 3 and haven't played enough of Champions yet but from the look of it it look like it's the best in the series.
Just started Legacy mode and i'm having a blast building my boxer with the XP , training ect. Haven't tried Story but will soon.
Thumbs up so far

Punch accuracy 0
Punch output 0
CPU punch output 0
Stamina 0
Presentation: Simulation
Wait for the patch as some sliders don't work as intended.
You can also raise power to 9-10 and lower damage to 0.You can also edit the AI tendencies to reduce punches per round.I recommend the above tweaks for now.

Yep, Legacy mode is under "Game Modes" along with Training mode.

Have you tried installing to HDD?
Failing that, rerun the img through abgx360 and reburn using the .dvd file at 4x speed.

This game is pathetic online.
I was good in the demo.
Yep fucking e.a the money grabbing tossers now allow players to buy boosts for online play.
Totally spoils the game online.
And i get knocked out time n time again even when i'm destroying the opponent,.
