FIX: Here is how I fixed my problem:
1.Erase the .cfg file in d3exp folder
2.Load the game, click next level, load ok, save
3.Set your settings back
4.Restart game (to change settings)
5.Load the game, work perfect

1) Install d3 with the cdkey provided in nfo
2) install roe with the cdkey provided in nfo
3)apply mints crackfix
4)doubleclick doom3.exe shortcut, norton asks whether i want to block or allow connection by doom3.exe, ive tried blocking and allowing, same effect:
Doom3.exe hangs in task manager and refuses to shut down.
What's wrong here?

Try disabling norton,.. maybe the switch fullscreen/windows/fullscreen bug the loading..
If it don't help it should like a game bug problem with your system configuration, have you tried normal doom3?

Disabling Norton did the job.. However i wouldnt mind playing norton disabled so are there anything i can do to remove this problem?

I'm stuck in the level where there's the Sarge Hunter arcade minigame.
I can't advance unless I get the key with the rifle.
I already got 100 points in the minigame but I'm still unable to get the f*** key.
Any suggestions?

new doom3 patch is out 
get 1.3 at www.doom3.com
havent installed it yet as there is no no-cd out yet (i own both the game and the expansion, but hate to have cds in drive all the time)

Does anyone know if you can hold the flash light and the gun at the same time in this expansion pack? Are there any kind of tweaks that allows you to do that for the original Doom 3 and this? Perhaps mods maybe?

There is a duct tape flashlight mod for Doom 3 but I never saw one for the add on.

yes dont use a system hogging/controlling POS virus scanner such as norton.easy.
there is no excuse. pc-cillin, zone alarm etc are available.

With 1.3 I'm having a hard time getting multiplayer to work. I'm using the TNT patch's for 1.3 and the game will run fine. A friend and I connected on my server and played for like 15min. We disconnected/reconnected and now he keeps getting cdkey in use. Has anyone else had their multiplayer work?
