No. Not the way they work now anyway.
During PS2 and xbox era we used to have threads combined to talk about the game before and then when release hit they were the new threads. One for xbox and one for ps3. Guess that wouldn´t work now, considering different regions and so on.
So maybe just split them from start or something?

Anyone try patching this to Wave 2 to get it to work? Two burns and Disc Unreadable (locks up on opening graphic). Might finally be time to upgrade the firmware.

i fixed it updating my dash via usb tot newest then it don't ask for update anymore and boot right to menu

It's a mandatory update that re-enables the Boot to Disc option and a small update to the Gamercards.

crashes for me a few minutes into the game. after the first battle the game returns to the guy and the woman talking for a bit and when it should continue to the next scene the screen just fades to black and that's it.
that's on kmeaw 3.55 with latest multiman

Let is sit for a few minutes mine did the same but eventually loaded after 4 or 5 minutes.

trying that right now... black screen for 10 minutes already. I don't think it's gonna continue :-(

Internal or external? .. haven't read yet if it can be played from either as Im just getting it. If its on your external, couldnt it be the HD spinning down before it gets to that loading bit? |
it's from internal.
not really sure what else to try, I guess I'll just wait for a pc release.

I must say the PS3 version is horrible.. Absolutely horrible! I played as far as to when i was done working that 1 year and the GFX really hit me in the face.. That and the clumsy control system, menu. Finished the demo of the PC version again after and i never want to play the game on the PS3 again, I'd rather wait.

i have i extreme 1.61, updated dash today to 2.0.12611.0, in the hope of getting the game to run... but both burns i have done (same way i normally burn, im imgburn, verbs, 2.4x, use the .dvd file) with damnations release show in the dashboard as a dvd..... any help appreciated

Tried to play this on console but.........it's just too weird with a controller. It feel like an half assed hack and slash game and also limited. Graphics aren;t that bad but they sure aren't amazing either. Could certainly use a higher resolution and some AA
I'm going to wait for the PC version. Should be a more enjoyable experience for me

I've pumped about 10 or so hours into this and can safely say, I've had enough.
In concept, I'm farily entertained but I couldn't care less about any of the characters. The side missions are a grindfest normally revolving from going from a to b with someone or alternatively a to b to get something. It makes WoW look diverse.
Oh, and the dungeons and environments. Did they just create one and then cut and paste it. Literally every dungeon/cave is the same. And say take wounded coast and the mountains area. They replace sand with mud.
Are there actually any good RPG's out there atm?
