Hehe, impending DA2 release makes me think back to a year(?) ago when we found the BioWare DLC download links. Good times.
When does it unlock on Steam so I can expect get my "Probably not worth my money"-copy?

But the worst thing about reusing the maps is that they didn't even change the map. Imagine you explore a huge cave and can go everywhere on the map.
If they re-use that same cave for a much smaller one u'll still see all the corridors in the map. But when you'll try to go there the door will just be closed.
I didn't read any of the reviews, anyone knows if they mentioned this?

ME2? More varied than ME1? What? Where? How?
I must have played something else then, because in the ME2 I've played every-time I entered a room I already expected incoming hostiles since there where neatly placed cover walls. And not one time....but over and over again. With a few exceptions they still recycled a lot of things in the same game.
I'm curious how derped down DA2 will be. Currently playing DA:O with all the DLC in and it's indeed an old school Bioware game although it's impressive that after all this time and they still haven't manage to fix the goddamn loading times. After 2-3 hours it becomes unbearable to even load a saved game - I just suck it up if I fucked something up in the quest line and live with it.
We've gotten to the point were it's easier for the developer to release shit out then to fix it since they keep rushing stuff out the door.
The main reason why I think Bioware has lost it's touch is the number of quality releases. I don't know any respected developer who can release 2 great titles a year. Bioware is going to release 3 - Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2 and that piece of shit Star Wars The Old Republic. If we'll take a look at there past records I think it was something along the lines of 1 great game every three years (give or take).
At the rate they're pumping out games it's not far off to assume that they're gonna recycle a lot of shit from different games.

LOL! Yeah man, we had some good times with that. DAO and ME2, the constant trial'n'error to find the DLC links from the official server... hehe.

I think it's meant to be some blood type warpaint design, pretty sure it's optional during character generation but it's the "canon" (And thus default.) design of Hawke, similar to Biowares rendition of Shephard from Mass Effect or such.

Yeah, it's optional - you can customise your character's appearance and choose not to have the warpaint effect.

They rushed this game, don't expect to much.
They have a new engine, pals, sometimes, you need years of development to do that...

ME2 indeed was more varied that the first one. Not by much, but at least you didn't have two exact levels (warehouse, spaceship) used for all side missions.

Since when was the gdf .dll related to anything, it's for the games explorer integration (Or maybe it was firewall exception helper, I can't remember which one of them.)
Exe seems identical to the unaltered version as well if further info is needed.
(And why would a group use a external loader at all.)
