i hate the DLC concept...

Expansions are good, DLC is bad! But people like to be robbed...

Like someone here said before: They should focus on fixing bugs instead of 1st day DLC bullshit!

But the worst thing about reusing the maps is that they didn't even change the map. Imagine you explore a huge cave and can go everywhere on the map.

If they re-use that same cave for a much smaller one u'll still see all the corridors in the map. But when you'll try to go there the door will just be closed.

Up to this point, this was most badly done in Mass Effect 1.

ME2? More varied than ME1? What? Where? How?

Actually, that's true. In ME2 there is almost no reusing of the maps.

ME1 had those station and dungeon maps that repeated over and over, for me it was the most annoying thing about the game.

Lets not forget about the horrible driving around the fuc*ing ugly planets with the mako (trollcar), only to find the same stupid minigames over and over again. I was seriously happy they ditched that.

Not the planets were the problem, but the lack of motivation to drive around on their surface. Resources gathered were crap, with no whatsoever reward and the enemies were too few and easy to take down.

Would LOVE to see again some planet exploration in ME3 but with proper changes and some respawning troops, in the genre of The Witcher. Anything that would make the world dynamic and more engaging would do for me.

And for me, a big Sci Fi and universe/space addict, the planets were gorgeous. Walking around on Mars or Moon could be made epic with some modding tools. Imagine if Mass Effect had the UEditor released: tons of planets, environments, missions etc. And probably ALL of them, since we are talking about PC, would be build to be at a MUCH larger scale. Starting even with planets, outposts and missions environments.

Hey, I am an exploration whore! Very Happy

Aah. Gotta love EA Download Manager, logged on VPN, got American release date instead of shitty European one.

Now if only I could get out of work.

The manager doesn't matter - try actually running the game. Took me a while to find a proxy that works with the securom shit.

This thread is pathetic... The horse youre beating here the last hundred or so pages is nothing but a mere dry bloodspot on the ground. Get over it please. Your energy is better used elsewhere. We all get it, consoles destroyed gaming. Mass hysteria, cats and dogs living together. The end of gaming as we know it.

But remember to start greasing your wheels for the next pc-pseudo-elitism-fest when The Witcher 2 and Skyrim will have something you dont like (these games probably have some consolederp in it).
