meh, securom is indeed only the region restriction crap but afaict the exe is still obfuscated and needs a valid license to decypher and maybe dump it from memory ? iirc its the same thingy they used on the first dragon age

I'm assuming that you're playing this in the DX11 mode, but didn't you have a 4890?
Or is it a DX11/DX10 mode?

I think they started working on this soon as they finished DAO, so not even two years.

So? A 2 year development time is far more common than one that lasts 6 years, and usually games that take that long have a troubled production (see HL2, DNF..)
