Well I guess someone could still upload the installers somewhere. (Assuming they're still using the installers at least?)

beckman wtf? are you fucking with the game again to make it look ugly on purpose or something like usual? those screens are terrible.
or are you just running it on a really shitty pc. ugh. i cant believe anyone could release a game in 2011 that looked that terrible... i actually feel a bit ill.
my fault probably for not bothering to look at any of the previous videos or screens, so this is a bit of a shock to me.

Doesnt work for me, am i supposed to put the crack in the binship directory from the download, or where the game installs? The folder in program files it makes only has a few files.
Edit: Nevermind im a moron. Tried to start it in dx11

phew yeah ok peys look better... your screens make the game look like some independant small studio made it back in 2005 or something...
oh well im sure in motion the game will look better anyway... its just your shots worried the hell out of me...
this one alone made me think we'd jumped back to the mid 90s and they had made a quake mod. flat low res textured floors and blocky dull buildings give me major quake era flashbacks.... and i mean the BAD parts of the quake era!

They're not "worse" but DA1 used a lot of post-process effects (Some area being very vibrant like the purple tinted underground passages as a example.) to hide it's visual flaws, levels were also smaller and more sparsely detailed (With a few exceptions.) using low-res textures and low polygon models.
It is the same engine but now they're trying a large city environment which means some cuts here and there, heavy fog and blur for example (The above image Chiv points out and the second last of Pey's are in the same area and show similarities to that.)
DX11 enhancements help with some of it though, surfaces are less flat due to the displacement effect, second lighting pass makes the bloom and gloss more refined and toned down, contact shadows soften edges effectively, SSAO and DoF adds natural depth and of course the high-res textures improve the rather bad default ones.
(Most of this minus any exclusive DX11 functionality and shader dependent stuff will work in DX10/DX10.1 mode as well, displacement and lighting does not however.)
EDIT: The more jagged/edged design decision such as with how the Darkspawn look and the gloomy yet very bright/harsh lighting also play part in it I guess.

Seems turning off hi-res textures and switching to DX9 stopped the crashes.
Anyhow, Nightmare difficulty is just broken. Some fight are literally impossible, no matter how you play.

Jesus Christ, how the hell did they balance that fucking game.
Nightmare is nigh impossible, some fights you just can't win without losing all your team. Healing spells and poultices cooldowns that are way too long, defense bonuses that are way too short.
small spoilers early game:
The first boss in Kirkwall when you work for the Red something, he and his allies just wreck Carver and Aveline, then I'm all alone. Everyfucking attack in Nightmare staggers you or knock you out. One fucking rogue cheesed my Mage by chain knockdowning him into a corner.
QA much Bioware ?

That's because you aren't seeing most high res textures.
