Okay, combat is just stupid... the overall interaction with NPCs tops that... don't let me start on the menus and talent configurations.. I can't stand Hawke's voice... also he looks retarded (and wants to be a Durrgon) compared to the "James Purefoy" Warden (yes, I had the morph). +The tits and gore effects are ridiculous.

This will be a hard ride for me.. I nearly got an Brain Aneurysm when I saw this "new art design" Darkspawn and the "new" Flemeth (so she changed back and forth between "Old hag" and "Armored Cougar with crazy hairstyle" in DA:O. "Old hag" for the Wardens and "Armored Dragon Witch" for the Tardface... sureee Rolling Eyes )

*EDIT*

WTF?! Sandal "Salad Fingers"... the agony... also he looks like an Alien now (ah well, never thought about it, but he could actually be an alien. "Pile of corpses" anyone? Very Happy )

Anyone with a GTX260 willing to try this out, see if it helps:

"Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I went from unplayable when
settings were maxed, to a good framerate by changing the following
settings in my nnvidia control panel (btw using latest beta driver and
have a GTX 460)

Antialiasing trans. to multisample
Max prerendered frames to 8

and most importantly, I changed the PhysX processing to CPU.
Like I said, this took me from unplayable to good, hope it helps others."

Uhm, I've got an GTX260 too (but an Core216 one to be precise) and have no freezes/hiccups at all. Got the 266.58 WHQL Driver. HD Pack installed and everything maxed +AA+AF what I'm able to.

Do you guys have the Core-216 one (216 unified shaders) or the older one?

Haven't actually played it (waiting for Steam to unlock the game for UK), but want to know of solutions for any possible hiccups. Very Happy My card's 216sp, so should be okay? I hope. Smile

It seems like a good game in it's own right but just like with mass effect 2 I just don't like how they stray so far from the predecessor in an attempt to streamline the game.

If they make this game and call it something else, ie make a new franchise for their console centric action rpg then that's fine with me but why do they have to do this to dragon age?

I guess they don't mind pissing off their fans as long as they get enough mainstream gamers who don't really care what they play as long as shit blows up and blood flows like booze in dwarf fortress.

It's the EA touch of death. Give it 3-4 years and Bioware will have been stripped of talent, replaced with monkey's and we'll be hanging them up with the likes of Origin and Westwood.

You'll see the injured notice under the party member's name. Go to the Inventory screen for that character, click on the Potions category, drag an Injury Kit over their paper doll, then exit the Inventory screen. They should use it. Alternatively, you should also be able to drag them to the hotbar.
