I thought it was kind of ok. Not good but not bad. More interested in the singleplayer campaign. Multiplayer is just a small tacked on bonus on this one. Visuals were ok, couldn't get AA working, jaggies suck ass.

Graphics are nice but without decent gameplay these shooters utlimately suck like Chrome, Firestarter, Devastation, etc. I'm looking forward to F.E.A.R which by Monolith should be good <forget about Contract Jack ;-P>

imo the only good thing about this game is that it had a fairly quick uninstaller.. bleh

OK, so here's a little guide to play MP/SP with bots:
In the console write "open ******", ** being the map you want.
When game starts, open console, type "addbots x", x being the number of bots to add.
Also, try typing "loaded", to see all weapons ingame.

I'm not very impressed with this demo.
The graphics are decent, though things are not as crisp and aesthetically pleasing as UT2k4. The blur effect is *way* overused (is it REALLY neccesary when sprinting?). The explosions are nice. The HUD is not so hot, especially the chat text (it is barely visible at any res over 800x600), and the normal life meter is replaced by some kind of whack 5 bar system.
The gameplay is really what keeps this game from being good. The pacing is slow, it feels like you're floating while jumping, and only the one hit one kill weapons are any good, which makes for a shit-ton of sniping and spamming. Any retard could pick this game up, spam with the nade launcher and get a few kills. Those of us with FPS experience will hate this style of gameplay, because it removes the element of skill.
Hopefully, the final release will be much improved. Unfortunately, release is scheduled in about two weeks, so it is highly unlikely that any impactful changes other than bug fixes will be implemented.

Tried the demo last day and well I wasnt too impressed. I agree the blur effect is way over the limit that it becomes bloated... driving around is nice though, its kinda like an upgraded mp Halo.

Hah, found this game a bit amusing, the fully upgraded bulldog is great, the trick is not to hold down the fire button, just tap it as fast as you can and it'll have perfect accuracy.
don't copy that floppy
