Are you sure? Cause I've read my knowledge from a huge thread where one of the writers explained this oO
I'll try to find it. Strange since the Wiki states your point.
*Edit*
Well, okay, Dragon Age 2 itself got some Info which state your point too. But I've read this while DA2 was still in developement. Very strange.

Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the original thread you're talking about is the correct one... and they just fucked up royally in DA2, screwing with the canon and lore.

They changed Qunari to have horns because the retards thought they were just tall humans and not a different race.
There were plenty of Qunaris without horns in DA:O so it wasn't just Sten being born without them.

No, I think the writers weren't quite sure what it is right or wrong. Because there was this Qunari Merchant in DA:O who removed his horns by himself.
*Edit*
Even though, the Qun as a form of Lifestyle/Religion and those who are keep it up, are called Qunari, sounds much better than this stupid horn stuff.

This is nothing short of embaressing coming from Bioware. With shit like Mass Effect it's obvious that the Baldur's Gate generation of complex story telling is long gone.I'm still amazed that Mass Effect 2 is considerd an RPG ... fuck , if that game's an RPG then if STALKER is leveling up away from being an RPG.

By the way, did anyone who completed the game recognize this major story fail?
Spoiler: | I did not import a savegame from DA:O and went with the Default one (Human Noble yadda yadda). When meeting with Alistair, his uncle states that the Warden is back and waits in Denerim. While meeting Leliana, she tells you that she's still seeking for the Warden. At the ending Cinematic, it's stated that the Warden and Hawke are missing and Leliana shows up too and says this also. I mean.. WTF?! How can they be that retarded... it's just stupid.. |

Nope, that's because Anders was with me while he said that. The Hero of Ferelden was meant, he's back in Denerim, Brannigan said. That's a major fuck up imho. They should be ashamed by such goof. But I guess they couldn't care less since most s wouldn't even recognize/remember it.

@m3th0d2008
I'm not 100% sure but i think what he said was "Hero of Ferelden should be back in Denerim by now". So he expected her/him to be back but in fact he vanished.

No no, I'm referring to the END section.
Spoiler: |
In the game they distinguish between Wardens and the Hero, they don't specifically say "The Warden" - they say "The Hero of Ferelden" Whereas Anders is called "The Warden" on numerous occasions.
Still, like I said, I could be wrong.

Nah I don't think so. Just think about it what they're aiming for. Imho there will be 2 possibilities. #1 There will be 3 more Dragon Age titles. In Dragon Age 5, your Party contains all the 4 heroes for the ultimate clash with blood, tits and cunts flying everywhere.
#2 Dragon Age 3 will be centered around the Hero of Ferelden, Hawke and all those Party member from DA:O and DA2. Or at least most of them. Oh, and don't forget Morrigan and Flemeth. They have some stuff to settle too.

after that
Varric will call you to create a tale of how you fucked around and he killed pirates when you where too busy fucking [he only will fuck with femhawk ]
after that
Aveline will not fuck you [she likes Guards/warriors not Rouges] but with the help of Isabella you will help her to fuck another guard she had a crush on
after that
Meryl will go on a quest to fix the mirror from DAO and then you fuck her
oh don't forget DLC Sebastian he is bi hahaha

Actually, Sebastien WON'T sleep with MalHawke. He's the only heterosexual companion in the game (that you can romance, of course) and Varric CAN'T be romanced.

There is this purple heart shaped thing during some sarcasm replies that differs from the usual face icon, I've always thought it's some semi-romance thing but I'm unsure what it actually does, anyhow it comes up with Varric now and then but yeah I don't think he can be fully romanced as such.
At chapter three start area now at just under fifty hours, took about four hours for two quests I had in chapter 2 before I realized I would never finish them due to a few bugs.
Mainly this one.
http://social.bioware.com/forum/Dragon-Age-II/Dragon-Age-II-Official-Campaign-Quests-and-Story-SPOILERS/Forbidden-KnowledgeEvil-Tomes-6448163-1.html
(Finding all unmarked locations took time as well, found a lot of items and encounters though such as demons, undead, mature dragons and more as I explored all sorts of areas, also found various merchants and mini quests so all in all act 2 was about as long as act 1 at about 23 hours for each with some extra for combat, questing, running everywhere and so on.)
Think I got a good resolution to it but things are getting pretty hectic and apparently heading towards a (dramatic?) conclusion.

Several people claim that even DD versions, including the Steam version, use SecuRom.

Biocrap actually have been highlighting how Sebastien is only a romantic interest for female characters. That should be enough warning of the shit they included in this thing.

It's hard to compare EA and Activision. Both are amazing fuckups, that give either the touch of death to a company when they buy them out. Or they give them the plague. Where they linger on for years, while gamers fondly remember the days of *x company here* kicking out kick ass titles that either shaped their teen years, or whatever.
While their current titles swirl amazingly down the drain, and we're remind of how it's all happened before. With people going "give dem a chance!"

Eh, EA has been doing that shit for decades. Remember Westwood, Origin, Bullfrog? Not that Bioware needed any help in fucking up. EA merely expedited the decline.

One question about the DLC.
I installed Signiture edition, Black Emporium and The Exiled Prince DLC and used the unlocker and edited the manifest files.
I also used the "patchda2furunlockables" file.
Just started the game and according to my quest log everything is unlocked.
But what i was wondering, what about the dlc you get by playing the demo and for example the Dead Space 2 armor? According to quest log i unlocked those, but don't they have to be installed aswell like the Mass Effect 2 dlc? Or where they coded in the vanilla game already?
Because i only downloaded and installed the 3 dlc's mentioned above.
