One question about the DLC.

I installed Signiture edition, Black Emporium and The Exiled Prince DLC and used the unlocker and edited the manifest files.

I also used the "patchda2furunlockables" file.

Just started the game and according to my quest log everything is unlocked.

But what i was wondering, what about the dlc you get by playing the demo and for example the Dead Space 2 armor? According to quest log i unlocked those, but don't they have to be installed aswell like the Mass Effect 2 dlc? Or where they coded in the vanilla game already?

Because i only downloaded and installed the 3 dlc's mentioned above.

If you installed those 3 DLC's you have everything.

OMG, well now. If I hadn't turned off the game when I arrived at the "house" and actually looked around, I'd have found it. Sorry about that. That's what I get for playing at work and not paying full attention Cool Face

So there you go then. A strange one indeed, after he was told by both EA’s live support, and the moderator who locked the thread discussing the matter (who declined to speak to us), the opposite. But good news for Arno, who can finally play the game he’s paid for.

Suuuuuuure, it was definitely an error. A poor, unfortunate, glitch. Definitely had absolutely nothing to do with the monumental backlash and bad publicity arising from an overzealous piece of shit moderator banning the account. Nope, definitely not.

@ Bioware/EA bullshit.

Anyway, installed this just to check out the graphics and performance more than anything and got through the first fight.

Does this spoil much of the original's plot?
Still haven't finished that one.

Oh and this may sound a bit , but FemHawke looks pretty good. Embarassed

I'm sure you'll find it interesting, but there's a comment he made on the social forums about pointing out that it's illegal in his country to use the ToS and EULA to stop him from getting his game. Where he lives, contracts of any form have to be available, viewable, and have to be signed by both parties before they're considered binding.

The other thing is, they haven't done anything to fix this. No credit, rebate, free dlc or anything. But he did say that he's more than happy that they got all this bad publicity, and considers it fine payment.

To be honest, I'm surprised they even retracted the ban in the first place. The sheer amount of negative publicity EA/BioWare received from this would definitely go a long way to soothing my anger Very Happy

Does this mean for example he also can't be banned from MP games because of cheating? Confused

Not really. Most cheating bans, (unless they're in MMO's which go into voluntary contracts because they're a service) are covered under something like a CoC. Which allows them to revoke your ability to play MP games, for abusing, or removing enjoyment or whatever else. Different beast, and CoC's aren't bound by contract law in most places.

By the way, what's up with the Qunari ? Aren't they supposed to be the most technologically advanced race in Thedas ? And they choose to fight barechested and throw spears while being covered in tribal tatoos ?

What the hell ?

They're supposed to have cannons and shit.

Mike Laidlaw defends Dragon Age 2:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-03-10-biowares-mike-laidlaw-a-defence-of-dragon-age-ii-interview

One of the many gems from the 3 page interview:
Quote:
Mike Laidlaw: I've certainly seen a fair amount of feedback that says, "I couldn't play Origins, I thought it was too slow, the story was too plodding, too typical, and Dragon Age II is awesome by comparison!"

lol wut

That interview reeks of denial and being backed into a corner. I especially love how he says the recycled environments were done so the game would have more content. Only a madman would think that makes any sense.

It reads more like damage control and backpeddling than anything actually.
If you read between the lines he's actually admitting that they didn't have enough time to design all new enviroments so they tried to make them as interesting as they could but had to output a level of content regardless.
