Finally I got done reading all the replies to this here topic.. Took me 3 days due to working overtime at work.. :/

And finally about the Promo Items, and the Signature DLC for some reason they are blocked out when viewing the extra menu, are they suppose to be that after running the patch file thingy? I mean you people that have it working are they also "faded" in the extra menu but accessible in game from the chest?

Well, I finished the game a few minutes ago, and...
 Spoiler: | wtf is wrong with it? I was living with Merril and Varric says "We all leave the champion, well, all but Isabela..." or something like that... so I'm living with Isabela now? 
Where is Merril?!
I know there is more story to come with DLCs or whatever, but even the personal relationships don't have an end here. I don't now what the hell happened to anyone, and I don't now why Merril leave me? maybe it was a bug because I had sex with Isabela before Merril? o_O |

Merrill was my first 'love' and I was living with her 
I hate this things, something similar happened to me in DA:O, when I finished the game it said something like I was in love with Zevran or something like that, but I only had sex with him once and that was all
I hope that if some DLC/expansion brings my teammates back I'm with Merrill and not Isabela, otherwise I'd have to replay the whole game just to continue my story  |

I have found a total of five evil tomes, read one, took 4 - also sold them, because as it would seem, they got placed in the junk part of the inventory. Do you think there's any way for me to finish the quest? Thanks in advance!

Apparently not. A lot of people are reporting that it's bugged, that the quest doesn't trigger properly if you read OR take/sell any of them. You have to destroy all of them.

There was a thread started about this on the official forum about a week before release when the game started preloading on the various digital distribution services. The guy that started the thread pointed out that it included Securom with no warning and that it was a bad move by EA given the court order mentioned in that article. Priestly locked the thread and dismissed the claim by saying the only Securom involved was the date-check EXE downloader - that there was no actual Securom DRM installed. We use a release control product which is made by the same team, but is a completely different product.
The constrast between the two couldn't be greater - it is night and day.
For those not aware, the hype/hysteria around 'Securom' is tied to Securom DRM, a separate product. This is typically used by many games for disc based drm and can be used for digital as well. This DRM installs several protected files and registry entries and as part of protecting itself and makes it very hard for a person to manually attempt to remove these - amongst other reasons (as i'm over-simplifying for brevity) that product is essentially what players are concerned about.
The release control software we use does none of this. As we've said before it simply does a check of the date against an online server when you run the game. If the street date has passed, it allows you to play and removes itself. We use this and only this, and not the Securom DRM.
Someone also pm'd me that apparently it leaves behind a couple library files in the temp directory, which are named securom or their signature when examined mentions securom and that this was mentioned on an external site claiming proof that we've snuck securom in.
I haven't been able to check these files personally yet, but as these are inert files sitting in the temp folder after removing itself, I still don't see the issue. Most developers (including ourselves) re-use libraries we create all the time. These are likely common utility files (e.g. contact a server) which do not make any sense to re-write from scratch when you have a perfectly usable generic library that already works.
The fact it leaves some inert files behind (while not great practice) is common with nearly every piece of software on windows. Again, the files are inert and you can simply delete them manually - sometimes you just can't remove everything as files may be in use as part of the removal step of the program itself (something is running to do the removal).
But to go from that to say that we've installed Securom DRM is like saying because DA2 uses common Microsoft libraries, we have clearly gone and snuck in Games for Windows Live now. That's the kind of 'jump' in assumptions we're talking about.
As for the site claiming this (again, I admit I haven't had the opportunity to check yet - I did a while back but just got 403 errors on the page), if that is what they are claiming then sadly they are doing a great disservice to their audience. Anyone that has ever actually used/installed SecuROM DRM and this, and is reasonably impartial in their assesment (ie. is not jumping to conclusion because they see the word 'securom' on the pop up) should be able to clearly tell the two things apart - and appreciate how far apart they actually are.
Incidentally, since the game is now unlocked world wide, everyone should have this auto-removed already anyway.
In any case, if you are still concerned about the files left behind in the temp folder, then either clear out your temp folder or let me know and I'll dig them up once back in the office and provide the file by file names so you can manually delete these. (Worth noting that if we were actually using Securom DRM, this would not be possible to do).

I just finished the game and the same thing happened to me.

Also, for some reason they say Hawke became a rallying beacon for mages, even though I went along with the Right of Anullment, what the hell is up with that? o.O Shouldn't they all want me dead? Sure I told the Knight Commander she couldn't kill my sis, but I never chose to end the killings of other mages... and the Commander was obviously insane anyway. |

The Warden seems to have eliminated the Darkspawn nearly completely while all Hawke did was to hurry up the civil war inside of a single city so that it would end faster. Not better, just faster. Tons of dudes still died.

Also at the end of the game when you are with Orsino (or Meredith, I suppose it's the same) and you can talk with all companions, Merrill was the one who gave Hawke a kiss, not Isabela, so everything was fine until Varric talks at the end cinematic.
I jus thope that the savegame is fine if I want to play some DLC/expansion or even DA3 (who knows ), because I don't want to start the game again just to change the romance |

The time skips unfocus the overall story. Each act have a different story that has no connection to the previous one.
Your choices throughout the game have no consequences whatsoever. Even the last major choice makes no difference at all in the remaning few hours of the story.
Major plot points not expanded upon. ie:
