Hey, they make big bucks (I imagine) doing it. If publishers start seeing games getting harder to crack w/ SF... well hey, more power to the SF devs. This is a hobby to most of us and a lot of us buy many of the games we download. It sucks that some party-poopers have to ruin the fun, but it happens sometimes.
To Apex_Predator: it looks like it's going to be a tough job keeping this section and the Protection Bitchin' section seperate.
dyn IP addys, subnet & mac spoofs, email routing, and if all else fails, wi-fi. banned? lol, its more like brb. =p

and did u check the fuckin dates on the threads?
no one knew at that time...and at that time, it was supposed to be sd4...according to ubisoft, no one knew till ppl started pickin up the na game
so get your facts straight
maybe u should also check other forums as many ppl were surprised that it turned out to be sf3 protected as it wasnt supposed to be

I tried a couple of these on my USB burner, and they didn't work. The only people I've seen who've gotten the USB trick to function are those who have made their own backups. Either my DVD burner / media isn't up to the task, or the releases I'm getting off p2p and IRC don't have all the necesary data. I've got my own store-bought copy coming in a few days (cross fingers) and I'm going to try it out on a few different machines. For now, downloading these things is a waste of time.

I think it only works on usb DVDROM drives not usb burners.
