If I buy a CD key from a cheap CD key store, how can I get an official installer? I don't see any software comparable to Steam or EA Download Manager on Ubi's site.
With those places, where you get the nonSteam/nonEADM "key only" - you have to source an ISO yourself to get the installer.
So there is no CD check whatsoever, I can download any iso, install the game and enter the bought code when asked for it?
changing GFX - resolution options doesnt fix or help......
I had that same problem and disabled vsync. It cleared it up for me. I'm on a 260 though, so I'm not sure if that will help you or not, but it looks like the exact same thing I experienced.
Can't you just download the game from UBIsoft if you bought a cd-key?
I got to do that from EA, would think the same principal covers this....
Yes, it works for EA, but Ubisoft doesn't seem to offer any way to register a retail key online. Downloads from the online store seem only available for purchases from the store.
did not 100%, but i did beat it. very enjoyable game. as previously mentioned, mouse acceleration can s the d. i did not understand the ending all too much either
Investments (Turned out to be a misc addition after all.) and cheats (Inbuilt once you reach 100% sync in a chapter.) extras, not much but has unicorns.
I hope AC3 doesn't have these pesky investments. Cause they're uncrackable but at the same time so much worth not missing out. They add up so much value to the gameplay experience that playing without them is a raging insult to the gaming community and your dear self as a gamer.
Honestly, you'll all probably hate me for this.... but I don't see what Ubisoft has done being so bad. The investments stuff is free to everyone who buys the game - so the only ones complaining bitterly are those who haven't It's not like what CapCunt has done with MvC3, locking content ON THE DISK and forcing you to pay $10 to unlock it, as well as the $50-60 it costs for the game itself.
I rather like these kinds of buyer's incentives, to be completely honest. The same thing with THQ and the "Combat Code" stuff for Homefront on consoles. You wouldn't believe how many people are pissing in their cereal about that over on PSX-Scene ... and it's ONLY because they pirated the game and want it all for free. If you BUY the game, you get the Combat Code free in the box. It's only missing if you stole the game, or if you purchased pre-owned, in which case you can buy one for a fiver off PSN.
Honestly and personally, I couldn't care less if such incentives exist or not. I can live without them just fine. I'm not against them either. Just perfectly neutral on the matter. I'm not a minimalistic kind of person who wants to have all these small DLCs and unlockables at all costs. If I can't get them when I pirate a game, I forget they ever existed and move on.
