The picture quality is much better this way, but when i ran NTSC games the game run slower... Much lower...
I play Madden and the ball was a Balloon.
ANy idea why is this? how i can i fix it?.
I really want to keep my Xbox on Pal system, since all my equipement is PAL.

Ninja Gaiden (US) runs fine in PAL60. There are no problems at all.

Thanks a lot for your explanation.
This is what i did, i switch to pal, then i tried Halo2 (wich is PAL) and ran perfectly, i was soooo happy.
But then i tried Madden 2005, wich is NTSC and it was Slow Motion, it wasn´t "jerky" just slow motion.. so i decide to try another game... in this case, was jade Empire, wich is NTSC as well, and this run Choppy...
So i switch back to NTSC and both games ran perfectly smooth.
I did tried once more, but Brothers in Arms wich is PAL on Pal setting and again ran perfectly.
this time was when i realize, PAL games run perfect but the 2 games i tried of NTSC ran really bad.
I never had this problem when i had my Xbox on NTSC, i could ran PAL or NTSC without problems... so i want to do the same thing with PAL being the "original" region, so i don´t have to swtich my TV settings every time i play the xbox (contrast, Brightness, etc).
At the same time it is true i never get inside the Dashboard, so i didn´t even know i had this PAL60 Option available once you set your Xbox to PAL setting. I have to check this out.
You think this will make NTSC games works better? Coz my problem are only NTSC games right now.
I don´t mind having to switch to some NTSC games, coz they are picky on PAL setting, but so far the 2 games i tried on NTSC the 2 works Choppy or slow motion. You had to see the Pass on Madden, it was a BALLOON!!!..
What do you think, it will help on NTSC games?

you can only try ... changing to PAL60 made the latest splintercell ntsc game run fine, but it definately didn't work with vice city ntsc .. so i really can't say
i just write on the dvd case which setting is best if the game benfits from a setting change ... otherwise i just use auto which works in most cases, ie ntsc in ntsc mode and pal in pal mode
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

i´ll try that with Jade Empire and Madden, since those 2 where the one who game me problems.
What do you mean with the Autoswitch ? how that works?

^ most dashes have them, just go to settings and turn it on. The one in Evox has to have the TSR setting at normal also for auto region to work .. just look at the setings for the dash you are using
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

ok, i did try it but still the same thing, Jade Empire and Madden, the 2 ntsc games i tested with, both works bad... Jade is choppy and Madden is slower pace than normal, very noticeble.
Any more ideas?

Some games won't autoswitch and you have to use enigma.. its because they don't use region 1(usa) or region4 (pal), but use region0 instead... region0 is I believe eeprom default... so when you have a PAL setup the game will run in PAL... where if you were running a NTSC setup for which the games you mentioned were designed for, it would run in the correct setting .... i know its really annoying
as i mentioned in the other thread Jade (probably region0 ) doesn't autoswitch so you must use enigma ... i guess from your results that Madden is region0 aswell.
have you tried PAL60 with these two games ?
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

my Xbox is from US, so is NTSC Native but when i switch to PAL madden run awfull. I really want to set it at pal since all my equipement is PAL system.
Maybe this is what is not working well, maybe it is not the same to has a PAL xbox than a "forced PAL with enigma".
Any ideas?

booker21 must be doing something wrong because Jade Empire works also fine in PAL60. Nothing is choppy or slow.

This is what i´m doing, maybe someoe can see my "mistake" if i´m doing it at all.
1-my xbox isn´t pal native, it is NTSC native, i use XBMC as Dashboard.
2-i ran xbmc, ran enigma app from the HD, then press L+R+Black, the system restart and shows on PAL system, i can tell since hte brithgness change.
3-i put Madden or Jade both NTSC games were i tested and both run slower than normal, and i dont mean SLow like PAL. I mean slow, since i ran Halo2, wich is PAL and ran perfectly, at 50Hz.
I did try the same procesos with a 1.a) turning PAL60 On, but still the same slow/choppyness
any ideas?

yes, i did tried both, with pal60 and without pal60, nothing changed.
