I'm rather interested in the SP campaign, obviously it's nothing I would spend money on, but I think that it will be fun for some hours. I hope the performance will be better though, the leak was almost unplayable for me. (while the MP demo was fine from this point of view)

I preordered this game too, loved the MP demo. Donno how SP works out,but the MP is def. awesome!

Me too. I don't mind a non-revolutionary but decent shooter and I still haven't seen anything that proves the game to be a failure. I don't mean to say I'm hyped, just that it's too early to condemn it.
I would have preferred more open levels as well but early reactions from the console section suggest that the level design is indeed better than CoD. I know that "better than CoD" doesn't mean much, but I originally expected it to be exactly like CoD so this still comes as a positive surprise.

Many skipped it as well due to the bugs and issues with it, funny how it's fully unlocked and the game is restricted and can't be customized much at all, even lacks Sandbox 3 editor on launch, funny but I guess it was really a internal dev build as was rumored.

No, it'll be added later, DX11 that is, DX10 isn't supported.
(As confirmed on the official forums in some post I can't seem to find now, guy got his copy early and it's just as with the MP beta with a small patch for key prompt updates, similar to the beta 1.01 update content.)

Lack of DX10/DX11 effects is a minor issue with this game. The problem lies is the gameplay/controls/settings/tools.

Got an email yesterday saying my zavvi pre order for crysis 2 had been despatched.
I only buy a few games in a year but have to admit that I really enjoyed the crysis 2 demo mp also thought it looked very good and played well.
I come from an elitist pc background always have the latest tech and usually hated anyting on the pc that even smelt of a console but news flash for some of you the quake 3 and UT days are over and have been for a good while, I still have the uber pc but also have the 360 and ps3 just play what suits ya best thats what I do, the mp demo only impressed me on the pc and buying it costs nearly £20 less for pc thatn the 360 or ps3.
The last time I got a pc game that felt like a pc game and did something consoles couldnt was Joint Operations 128 player online and at the time very good graphics since then unless its been an rts everything is console related either deal with it or dont.

I guess there wont be clone, but a cracked version soon. I bet its got insane Solidshield encryption & triggers so crackers have a hard time sodomizing this game. |

The only problem i got in the leak was the movie when prophet is shooting him self ... everything else was very stable.

I totally forgot about the beta. Because it didn't have any DX11 options I dismissed it as very incomplete and didn't pay much attention to it. But now it seems like the final version has converged towards the beta in the past weeks.
