Firefox 4 beta 4 kept crashing for me. :/
I suppose it was an addon, or flash, or java, or something....

So anyone else experiencing blurry fonts with hardware acceleration enabled? From googling it seems to be somewhat widespread, and for the life of me I can't understand how they didn't fix it by now. So for now I had to disable direct2d acceleration in hopes (probably vain) that anything else that should be accelerated still does. Nvidia control panel allows a workaround by disabling the AA specifically for firefox, but I couldn't figure out how to do it in catalyst.

Sorry but all look like opera.
If you look at the features, opera is always the first to implement and invent. And they still have the fastest browser
btw. I'm using Firefox at work and 4.0 is really FASTER and SMOOTHER than 3.6!
I recommend to switch to firefox 4.0 for all 2.x 3.x users! (my addons work without any problems too!)
thx to human_steel for the link

haha this thing totally feels like opera! I like the faster tab handling! Much snappier
Still this is running pretty poor compared to opera. But it's fast enough to finally work productive! It was REALLY a pain in the ass to discover that all your apps just work 10x faster in opera. In such a way that you did not want to work with FF at all :/
Peacekeeper on win xp sp3, core2duo 1,8Ghz:
Opera 11.10
4700
Firefox 4.0
2700
Need to test it on my main computer and see how the hardware acceleration performs with windows 7 x64 and my radeon 4850

Absolutely love the new looks and speed improvements in the new Firefox. My Chrome has finally met its rival.

So basically Firefox 4.0.1 is Firefox 5 and Firefox 4.1 is Firefox 6?
