It runs great on my rig, which isn't that great, I get 40-55 fps on an Athlon X2 250 @ 3.6 GHz/4GB DDR2 @ 1066/HD4850 512mb at hardcore settings in 1280x1024. Gonna test it tomorrow in full HD, too lazy to do it now .
this is the good thing that came with consoles, I can play every game on relatively high settings with my 2007 pc

i play the game 1366x768 resolution and hardcore graphic settings but graphics are too exhausting for my eyes. i mean it seems too blury at long distences. here is the sample from my game can you tell me what is wrong with it?

so the game itself like that? fck i thought it is because of antialiasing or something like that.. it is too shiny and so much blur...

It is a form of antialiasing. It's because they couldn't use regular AA with their deferred engine under DX9.

-Q: Antialiasing. It was an issue with the foliage in Crysis. Is it a card manufacturers’ problem?
-Yerli: Yes and no, actually. I’ll be happy when they come up with something you just toggle on and have the user choose between performance and quality, but with the deferred pipeline we have, traditional MSAA implementations aren’t working out. It’s the way many modern engines work. That said, we do have some smart antialiasing systems going on and they’re not edge-softening solutions either. We’ve got something really nice going on there.

try advanced graphics. Should remove the far-blur and some other stuff. If that is not to your liking, well bummer, you only have presets

it uses the same FAKE AA trick like it was used on consoles - Blur all your screen to make it less jaggy the last game that used this eyes killer AA was GRAW , just turn off game AA and use graphic cards forced AA and you will be all right
edit: some one informed me that the last game that used this shitty AA was C&C 4

thx for the advices i ll try now. i really wonder if they will add editable graphic settings with patch
you can use this commandline setting for the crysis 2 desktop shortcut:
+r_postmsaa=0
Pics:
This removes the wishy-washy effect but also leads to more aliasing (obviously)
Haven't tried forcing AA in the control panel yet, don't know if it works..

Yes, it's only used on console games such as.. STALKER
A deferred renderer is just incompatible with current hardware-assisted antialiasing, unfortunately (Hargreaves and Harris 2004). Thus, antialiasing becomes solely the responsibility of the application and the shader; we cannot rely on the GPU alone. Because aliasing itself arises from the mismatched frequencies of the source signal and of the destination discrete representation, a good approximation of an antialiasing filter is just a low-pass filter, which is simple blurring.
