What I said. I was expecting it to be released at the end of the year. Was there anything else I said implying and involving bugs and polish?

Didn't get the sarcasm?
This is Obsidian. They can scrap at last half a year from development time since they let their customers do the beta testing.

Looks crap, imo. And the UI is gay to boot.

Well, it doesn't look that bad for an action game if we look at the gameplay, but for a Dungeon Siege? No, that's definately not a Dungeon Siege, I really don't care if they left the same lore and other things. Dungeon Siege should be about a lot of grinding and looting with your enormous party gathered throughout a decent campaign with a decent story. It never was about those stupid dialogues, a rich story, nor relations between characters. And the menus, oh my, what the hell are those? A DS should have a UI like the one from the first 2 games, to manage all the loot quickly, to give you a lot of details about that loot, comparisons and other things like that. Again, I'm not saying I'm not going to try it, but it looks horrible if you think it bears the name Dungeon Siege, a name not worthy of.

Rich Taylor: Yeah. There are certain things that are more PC-centric. The input and the controls lean more towards the PC. On the console it controls like a console game. You control your character with the analogue stick and the camera with the other analogue stick, much like most other single-player controlled games are when they come out on the consoles.
On the PC, though, players expect to be able to click and move their character around with the mouse and click on enemies. We'll certainly have it control that way. The interfaces will be mostly the same. The stat comparison available on the console will also be there on the PC. And of course the PC lends itself to higher-resolution textures and visual presentation that we're happy to take advantage of where we can. |
Mouse control and a higher resolution.

Am I really the only one who's so angry about this? And what the hell does a classical RPG means for those idiots?
Quote: | This game is more about the story than other dungeon crawlers. The PC-only epitome of the genre, Diablo, puts such an emphasis on collecting that it's easy to forget there's a plot's going on at all. |
Fucking idiots, I just don't want the game to be focused on the story, change the damn name if you want to do a game like that. I want a proper new Dungeon Siege game and this definately isn't one. Just great, the hybrid character system is gone, because the game is about the stories of the characters and they must be interesting so they must be some pre-defined faggots. I shoud stop reading shit about this game, it just angers me more and more.

LOL they couldn't have said anything worse than that. My hopes have been downgraded a couple notches.

It looks like a clunky, slower, console version of that decade or so old game, Revenant. Which was fantastic btw. It looks like it will be a decent hack and slasher on consoles. Worth pirating on PC

Indeed. I don't like the "new" style at all, okay there are bouncing boobies but is this Dungeon Siege or Bayonetta?
