Well....I have been playing now for about 2 hours.....WOW...great fun...great enviroments...lots to do and see...Kicking ass and the Alien bastards are awesome...Trying to take my time and enjoy...I am not going to rush thru it!!! 9/10

to JBeckman, juniR and moosenoodles thanx for clearing out the autoexec thing, app is really usefull, playing on sli gtx 480 with nvidia beta driver and sli update, at first i got flickering and ghosting in game with noticeable boost in fps top 59-60 stall with 1920*1080 everything on max on crysis advanced graphic utility. then in game change to 1600 resolution and advanced and then back to high, damn flickerings gone and smooth as butter. only limited by display hrz 60 only.

All I need to know related to the advanced graphic options 1.5 utility, is what of those options you can tweak with it, are preset in each ingame graphic setting (gamer,advanced,hardcore). I mean, for example, what setting of shaders or physics (low, medium, high) does the ingame "advanced" setting use?; knowing that I can tweak from a known performance level setting, and so on with the rest of the advanced options I can modify on this utility. How could I find out that?. Is there a file on the game folder where I can check those settings?.

As mentioned gamer/high - low, advanced/highest - medium and hardcore/extreme - high.
(High, Highest, Extreme is the name of the settings after the 1.1 patch, there is some remnants after Enthusiast/V.high from Crysis 1 / Cry Engine 2 but most of the base cvar group cfg's are stripped down of these values as they're incorporated in the other presets, sun shafts, hdr and water effects are already enabled for example, exception being post-processing or the q_quality and q_ series commands which is = 2 otherwise but goes to = 3 when sys_spec which is the console commands for the presets is set to = 4 or you can set q_quality = 3 separately, one of the main improvements in the autoexec.cfg file I use myself as posted earlier, shame the console is so locked and limited in-game as it makes comparisons difficult, say between r_postmsaa = 1 and 2 and the r_postmsaa_mode and r_postmsaa_filter or what they were named alongside or without r_useedgeaa = 1 or 2 or 3, a lot of restarts and adjustments to compare even those few things instead of just toggling it directly from within the game console prompt.)

Dat bokeh filter 
Holy shit... Night levels + wet surfaces + light reflections + bokeh DoF are so close (*) to what Epic demonstrated with their DX11 techdemo running on 3 GTX 580s ( http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1439821#1439821 ) that it's not even funny!!!! 
And best of all my computer does not CRY 
(*) keeping in mind how much underpowered my GTX 460 is compared to 3 GTX 580s

ha OK, THIS is the so long expected Crysis 2. In fact, I must say it has very pretty graphics and fully detailed environments, very nice. Screenshots given several pages before are not far from what you can see in your screen, but...I don't know...could have been better. All this shit about American being invaded and liberating the World, WTF, very very boring story. Really hate this fucking american view of things.

What blurring is everybody talking about? Are you guys talking about the "anamorphic flares"? that come from light-sources? As there's not much that can be done about that and keep the game looking nice, If i remember right you can (Could in the dev build) flarefade = 3 to make them fade away more quick I haven't tried it in the final/retail version yet.

I honestly don't understand all the hate. I mean, I can understand a little bit of being let down. That said, the game itself is quite fun, and the graphics are pretty stunning in most places. It isn't open like Crysis was.. But realistically, Crysis wasn't that open to begin with.
The new multiplayer is a huge improvement as well.
Honestly, I don't understand all the hate people are giving this game. It isn't an 'amazing' game, but it is definatly on par with what Crysis was. (Besides being shocked by the graphics in Crysis initially.)
I wish I had a 3D Display setup to use with this game though.

Well they dont even validate the key im playing the whole morning with the cracked release but the game uses punkbuster so it should be relatively safe.
tbh mp is not that great i wouldnt miss it if it stopped working.

I think he cracked the exe, not the MP protection (because there is no MP protection).
If for example they start checking the keys with a future patch, the MP will become unplayable for pirates I believe.

Bought the game so i really hope it will be patched. But im not thus naive to think that the next patch will not be cracked again a few minutes after release...

But is there currently any protection against pirates? Have you tried inserting a random key with your legit copy?

The original Crysis/Warhead MP was similar to Battlefield, it was pretty fun.
Crysis 2 is the complete opposite tbh.

Damn, the dialogue between the characters in this game goes from bad to hilarious.
Especially the over-the-top-rage colonel guy. 
And the story really isn't an improvement on the first, like crytek was hoping it would be.
Still, I'm having an insane amount of fun playing this game, and I'm on my 2nd play-through since I've already finished the beta.
