man, I hope the controls on the PC version are better than on the 360. Default controls are twitchy as fuck. It's hard to get used to them. I haven't tried to change anything and I'm just using the default wireless controller.
Will be interesting to get the PC version and see how it works with the cheapo driving force GT I've got.
One thing I like that someone finally fucking did though. In car camera where your driver turns his head slightly, automatically, into the turn. Gives you such a better view through the damn turn. But at the same time it takes a lot of getting used to. You don't have to use it though. You can still use the in-car view and look straight ahead like in any other racing game.

Did you try the Elite mode? (all aids disabled), how is the level of realism if compared to Shift 1?

Nah, I didn't put the realism on elite. I left the driving line on until I learn the tracks (if I play it that long) as well as ABS and the traction control is on low. Preset-wise it's in between "pro" and "experienced". Until I figure out some sort of settings where I don't feel like an epileptic driving with the normal 360 controller. It's WAY too twitchy for me on default.
Level of realism? That's going to vary on who you talk to, of course. I think that if I got the controls dialed in it would feel way better than the first Shift. I'll have to reserve final judgement for the PC version so I can try it with my wheel and pedals though. I'm just not sure how my shitty computer is going to run it or if it even will
But on the 360 it looks pretty decent. Of course, if you pause it you can nitpick about graphics and I'm sure there are MANY people on here that will do exactly that. But when you're driving it looks pretty good.
well first off, I was extremely disappointed with the graphics on the interiors of the cars, the handling was complete shit, the engine sounds are rubbish, and the online connections are terrible.
Well, that pretty much sums it up quite nicely.
Just look at that ridiculous control lag. It takes 0.5 to 1 second from where he turns the wheel to where the game picks up on it and executes. And the frame rates becoming choppy all the time?
