|
 |
I'm planning on getting a new cellphone tomorrow. I can't decide which one to get. I primarily want a great camera, and Nokia N8 is my primary choice, but I don't like the fact that its Symbian, very thick and (apparently) has a sub-par display.
I don't have a lot of other choices, pretty much just HTC Desire HD or iPhone 4. I'd go with HTC Desire HD but watching some images, the camera quality seems awful.
Any suggestions on which way to go?
(These three are my only choices as my provider doesn't offer any other newer high end device. Although feel free to suggest something else if you think it's an immensely better choice)

I don't feel like waiting for my provider to add those devices besthijacker, and buying them in a store would be much expensive (I feel not enough that their features outweigh the price).
(That's where I was comparing camera quality, and HTC Desire HD looks pretty bad compared to other high end models. )
After reading a few more reviews, especially this one: http://bigphonefight.com/htc-desire-hd-vs-nokia-n8-review
I think I'll go with N8. Thanks for the input.

If you don't care about the os and only the camera N8 is probably the way to go.

This guy has a good point, they're two completely different phones, each good in what it does best. I rarely surf web on my phone, or use it for anything but calls/sms, playing music and taking pictures.
I saw iPhone 4 camera quality and it's decent, although the flash seemed pretty bad and it didn't do so well when taking pictures at night if I remember correctly. (Which is pretty much the only time I'll be taking pictures. Which is another point for N8 because it's got Xenon flash).
Camera apps are sweet but I only plan on taking normal pics.
