Though it would take them a month or so to deliver the patch. Nice to see I was wrong.

I just hope they include fixes for the most known errors also.

Erm, no. T4 is from 2004, UE3 from 2007. It's a shit engine, that's why it wasn't used much |
Not quite. There were 2 third-party UE3 games released in 2006; Roboblitz and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas.
So in 2004-2006 while indeed there weren't many third party/with no relationship with id, studios that licensed their engine (namely only Human Head for Prey) it's not like any of the other engines were licensed that much/at all. Of the big 4, Source, Serious Engine, CryEngine, Lithtech only Source had some success and it was mainly used for PC games/PC to 360 ports.
On the other hand Epic announced in 2005 the first game (Gears of War) running on their new engine would be a console exclusive and was promoting Xbox 360/PS3 support for their engine at GDC2006..

You're forgetting UE2
To name a few built on that engine: America's Army, Brothers in Arms, the Rainbow Six games, Splinter Cell, SWAT 4, Pariah, Postal 2, XII and a ton of MMOs. Many of these developed in the 2003-2006 timespan. Hell, even something like Red Steel on the Wii was developed using UE2.5. Once UT2k3 hit there was a MASSIVE surge of games on UE2; developers were looking for something better looking than the aging T3, and their main choice for easily available engines was T4 or UE2. id have noone to blame but themselves for T4 not being as popular as T3. Of that generation, UE2 is the big winner, and it paved the way for UE3. UE3 didn't fuck T4 over, UE2 did. UE3 just made sure to keep the spotlight by focusing on multiple platforms from the start

How about Cry-Babies?
Am I the only one who likes the plastic look once in awhile? I like real looking water, metal, glass.... shiny stuff. I are like teh crows in teh field.
C2 looks sorta cartoonish and washed out when vanilla. Gonna play around today to try to get that "Amazonian" look.

Spoiler: | I'm at the last segment of the final mission. I meet those cloaking Cephs, but I can't seem to defeat them by any weapon. Tried C4, Grenades, melee - nada. Nothing seems to work for these fuckers. I caught up on a YouTube walkthrough video and it showed that we have to grab hold of these Cephs and throw them off. But I can't seem to get the option to grab them at all. WTF? Thoughts? |

Shoot heads, and you can grab them?

BTW, WTF isn't the jackal ( that auto shotgun ) available in the final levels of the game, eh wanktek?

Almost 11 hrs, but it was my first time through the game and I've also died a lot due to some stupid bugs, and some of them are still in the final version ( v1.0, at least ).
Oh and it were 7hrs of fun, not 7hrs of stupid, generic and ultrascripted FPS shite like MOH or Homefront.
