Crytek was offered to use EA's server for logging in. That would prevent this thing from happening cause it verifies the key online. Crytek refused and used Gamespy instead.

Yeah and gamespy is a failure in everyway, even F.E.A.R 2 got online cracked with that Smile

There is no recharge from the IQ losses incurred from playing this game. But this game is like a good beer, even though you know that you are becoming stupider for it, it is somehow worth it...

game made in germany. writing 100% uncut on the cover > better sales than admitting that you had to cut down the version of the game in the country where they sat down and developed it. Cut it for all and be happy. Wouldn't be surprised if it'd take a little bit more effort to unlock ragdoll shooting and shooting civ's (100% sure that they did not include any hitbox/models/animations for that case).

Now enter people with some silly excuses.

The fact that they needed to resize textures for consoles is understandable and is not in dispute. The fact they did not include the higher res ones on the PC is inexcusable. The fact that they included a lower resolution Crysis 1 textures is just so ironic and hilarious! Laughing
The joke, of course, is on the ones that bought it and supported EA/Crytek.

You need to put the original EXE before patching. For me it didn't work (after running the patch once and it not finding the original EXE), so probably a reinstall is needed after that.
