So, yes, Bioware has no clue that their DLC's for ME2 are taken straight from under their nose...

I am not sure they care... The files are not really hidden, and if they were to include some kind of an additional protection system, it would probably only cause more trouble for everyone in the end, and the files would still get released anyway.

Finished it. It was ok. Too much shooting for my taste... and really one decision in-game. Worst than Shadow Broker but like I said it was ok.
Now to finally uninstall this game.

Spoiler: | Can you actually save the Batarians?
I didn't have any choice in the matter, Shepard just acted like this was the only valid way to do it. Even if you try to warn the colony, your message doesn't get through. |
I'm somewhat disappointed in the DLC. It was a lot of shooting, hardly any dialogue, no significant choices, a Spoiler: | disappointing reaper "vision" and a dialogue with Sovereign, that was far too short. |
Well, the action was above average, even though Shepard fights alone, but the action part isn't why I like ME2.

Yup, very disappointed with it. Extremely short and barely any real dialogue.

well at this stage in the mass effect 'game', i dont think they give a fuck about me2 OR the gamers thoughts (although im sure console gamers who mistake anything shiny for 'awesome' will love it all the same)
theyre too focused on me3 to put any real effort into game theyve already milked dry.

just grabbed it. hang on a fucking second... since when is my model display case a fucking TV, and why wasnt i informed until now?
kinda makes me wonder what else my fish tank can do... or that space gerbil...
also, how the hell do these scientists get grants... and where the hell do they get their diplomas. their leaps in logic are crazy.
Spoiler: | we found an artifact. its blinking. when its blinks become a steady sound, clearly it means the reapers will be here. why no, we dont actually know anything about this artifact, or anything about the reapers at all, but still... the magic 8-ball backs me up on this... |

AAAAAAAAnd done. that was short. and pretty meh.
in terms of enjoyment id slot it in between zaeed dlc and overlord.
it tells you nothing, you feel like you influenced nothing, it just wasnt epic, exciting or contributed really to fleshing out the story of the ME universe.
bioware... god dammit... COME ON you can do better than this...

Why would they spend extra time and money making better products when people lap up the shit they pump out at present?
EDIT: Just ran through it. Classic Bioware illusion of choice thing there at the end. Arguably this is the worst of the non-Cerberus Network story/mission-based DLCs. I guess they wanted to emulate DA Origins and make the last DLC for the game the worst.

Is The Arrival worth playing? If it's some one-hour short-ass quest, then I won't bother at all ...

I thought it was going to be a bigass DLC filling the gap between ME2 and ME3? Or is there another DLC on the way?

This is the last "story" DLC AFAIK.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

That's great. Which one of these awesome DLCs was supposed to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3?

This is it. Hence why it is called Arrival.

Well let's just say that you likely won't regret not playing it. I guess it's possible it might generate a flag in your save, giving you one extra line of dialogue in ME3 or something, but that's about it. It's made pretty clear that your actions are ultimately inconsequential, so I doubt it will have any impact on ME3.
