Umm... ok. There's a Skidrow release of Retribution on Usenet, right? Well this one is... different. It's 8.3GB.

as is mine (installed the p2p rip). However, I think a bunch of files are updated versions of those also found in the chaos rising release (base engine files and such that are needed regardless of if you're playing DoWII, CR, or R), thus it's possible the skidrow release has all previous content along with it. Haven't had a chance to dl it yet to find out if it's so, and if the skidrow crack unlocks it for play. Curious...

cuz it contains multi languages, which are over 3gb, if you delete those you end up with 4.5~ , game using 3.13 patch, which is same or newer depending if you updated your p2p rip with china patch, or not

56400, would be around there then.

That one perhaps? but it's been there since the beta though it seems correct, Last Stand "DLC" is arriving shortly after all.

EDIT: Sigh, again I forget the image.

Wasn't it announced to be free, that's why I added " " to it when calling it DLC. Smile
(It's technically a DLC and works like one but added for free, with luck figuring out how it works might see a possibility for releases of the other ones, similar to the previous LIVE Warhammer 40.000 Dawn of War modifications before they were unlocked for everyone.)

A modified Steam client with DLC authorization or what it's called set to 0 (To add player as owner for all DLC.) might work as well given that the files are present and set up correctly.

What about the Campaign DLC? Wonder what they can add beside some "silly wargear".

I wonder about the campaign DLC though (EDIT: As well it seems, so does others.), recent development would at worst indicate they would simply put these somewhat edited green robed (Dark Angel chapter to be correct I guess.) Space Marines for replacement of the existing red ones (Blood Ravens chapter to be correct.), doubtful but I would laugh for a while if it happened.

EDIT: Or allow custom creations in the campaign, my metallic silver/shiny units would see some more use then, hah.
(Gloss value was turned down a bit in this engine version tweak for Dawn of War so they actually look decent now.)

i just started playing this game. so far i'm not bored. it doesn't stray too far from the base dow ii game. which is good i guess. anyway, not bored yet. Very Happy

edit:

i finished this game yesterday playing the space marines. the campaign is pretty short. around 7 main missions and 7 optional missions. it took me around 5 hours but that's mainly due to waiting on the long load time of the map not the actually content of the map. Evil or Very Mad

i'm left extremely unsatisfied at the end. Crying or Very sad

i'm not sure if i even want to play the other faction (chaos, tyranid, eldar, ork, and imperial). i guess if i'm super bored i'll consider doing that. Rolling Eyes

Had enough so called blue coins via Gamersgate purchases (About ~100 SEK) so I divided it up between Magicka Vietnamn and that as a possible upload of the files and such.

http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-W40KDOW2RDA/warhammer-40000-dawn-of-war-ii-retribution-dark-angels-dlc-pack

Though nothing downloaded so it's sort-of in the game already as of the latest update I guess, something else will be needed to activate it so I can't be of much help.
(Some Steam client hack with DLC requirements and authorization unlocked I assume would work.)

And that's it I suppose, a new patch is out and now the content works as intended, unsure what else was addressed.

EDIT: Patched files.

So I played coop with a friend as Blood Ravens and finished the campaign. I felt it was pretty damn short so we chose a different race and well, it seems to be the same levels, but different characters. Is there any change later in the campaign or are the campaigns and levels exactly the same for every race?

It's more or less structured as one campaign but from six different perspectives / origins depending on the race you choose, very obvious in the first level as you usually end it by finishing off a hero from a rival race that you might otherwise have had control over. Smile

Some other differences as well (Ending segment and small part of the intro obviously and probably some other stuff.) but the path is fairly similar from how I've read and understood it over the actual playable levels in the game.

They could definitely made the single player much, much better and by that i mean longer. The races also start and end the maps the same way, you just have some other characters.

Many thanks! Smile

EDIT: Although now it seems that "GameAssets\Data\Movies\relicintro_720p_divx.avi" is also missing from this update, can you upload it too, please? Thanks in advance!
