if you want a realistic racing game then go drive on a track. Racing games are meant to be awesome and fun with great tracks and enjoyable. Forza and GT series aren't at all enjoyable. They're tedious. Shift series are at least fun to play. Same with burnout series.

Shift 2 (ps3) is out.
@iNatan : Forza 3 & GT5 are running at constant 60fps (sometimes it slows down at 45 but really rare). Only Shift 2 is running at 30Fps most of the times (although sometimes it speeds up a little to 45 or so imo)

But I like this shift game waaaaaaaaaay more than the shitty first one.

Hello all, I need your help.
I got this game not too long ago and I can not seem to make it work. I have the old IXtreme 1.51 on Benq and used to get the isos and then downgrade them to Wave 3-4 with the patcher tool and they worked no problem.
Now it ask me for an update when I put in the game. I can see it in my dashboard, even can install it no problem but as soon as I start it it gives me the update prompt and it generates an error when I try to do the update.
I want to specify that I am already on the latest dashboard (Kinect) and I can play games like AC:B and NFS HP and Bulletstorm np. By the way, my box is not jtag.
I know I might have to flash my drive again but is there anyway or anyone that uses a similar setup I have and have succedeed in booting up this game or Crysis 2 ?

Yeah the update fails to install from disk, I had the same problem with Crysis2.
You gotta download the dash update from the xbox webpage and burn it to an cdr or use an USB stick and install it from there.
(I used USB)

I'm using 1.51 also, and patch my games to wave3.
While the update finished i had a red light which freaked me off, it was gone after a reboot though, so if the same thing happens for you dont worry.

Hmm thats strange, I havent tried this game yet but this method worked fine on Crysis2 for me.
Btw system info on my xbox reported I was using dashboard version 2.0.12625 before I updated it.
The update on that page reports the same version although installing that fixed it for me.
I don't know why it wont work for you, Maybe you do already got it installed I'm unsure about that.
Does Crysis2 still prompts you to install this update too?
I will probably load this game later to see if it works for me, will let you know.

Just gotta ask - has anyone here tried the DLC on a JTAG with this game? I've downloaded both DLCs and none of the new DLC cars show up? I see the events though..
Tried installing Shift.2.Unleashed.Unlock.All.Cars.and.Events.Pack.DLC.XBOX360-XBLAplus, and that just showed the new events (Legends and Drag), but still none of the cars.

I know, I've installed the one that's included with the DLC release..
The Speedhunters DLC seems to work properly, I can race the new Dragstrips and so on, but it's also supposed to have included Speedhunters-versions of a number of cars, not sure if they are supposed to be available in the Car Lot? Where else would they be?
The Legends-events show up, but there are zero of the Legends cars in the Car Lot..

not sure buddy - i got some dlc for that ubisoft kinect game that i couldn't get to show up for shit so i passed on it until i could find more time to try and solve the problem
