DICE said the single player campaign will be 12 hours long?

OK, take those 12 hours, cut them by half and you get the real length, assuming you chose the hardest difficulty and walk everywhere instead of run.

12 hours my ass. Cool Face

and cod's campaign is like what 6 hours max . cut that in half too

Thanks but I know Smile It was composed for EA to be used in their ME2 launch trailer and that was the first time the track was heard before it became popular Smile

The track was available on the Legend album long before (a year at least, I think) there was ME2... not sure how it was composed with the game in mind. The trailer actually uses both the Choir and No choir versions.

Still, one of my all time favorite tracks by TSFH... or any production company for that matter. It was one of the 2 tracks I really liked on the album, and in fact it was the other one that reminded me of Mass Effect the first time I heard it... later it was used in the Star Trek trailer (the track was Freedom Fighters.. and I think the studio has even bought the exclusivity rights for that one, so it could never be used elsewhere).
Heart of Courage was used for ME2 though... so it all worked out in the end Smile

Did.. not.. know.. that. At least, was the ME2 launch trailer the first time somebody used it?

It probably was... at least officially. There was plenty of less known/fan made content, since the track was quite popular at the time (to those keeping an eye out for trailer music releases).

But yeah, ME2 trailer is quite likely to be the reason for it's mainstream popularity. I have to admit, by that time the track had dropped off my "most played" list, but after the ME2 launch it made it back close to the top Smile
It was nice hearing it as well, from the first seconds of the trailer you had this "ooh, it's gonna be a good one" feeling thanks to the music.

Modern Warfare 3.

Bobby needs a new private jet to replace his current one that is soooo last year and doesn't even have a jacuzzi big enough for 5(only 4, which means one less hooker can fit in Sad ) not to mention the plasma is only 50 inch and not 100.

Isn't it just too early to decide about upcoming CoD? BF3 will most probably be the FPS of the year but for CoD I woudn't hold my breath.

LOL I don't care about the sp campaign at all and I have never cared about it. Honestly, I don't expect much of it. I will be buying this game exclusively for the multiplayer.

Agreed, but I hope this does not affect multi player in a bad way when making maps etc... that's what worries me.

I just disagree with the statement sadbox games are boring. Some of the best games the last decade have been sandbox and far from boring.

EA will spend hundreds of million $ in advertizing BF3. Their goal is to "take down that game", referring to CoD.

Reading this, now I'm convinced BF3 will just be a dumbed down "see you firs, kill you first" shooter, just like CoD. Nice.

I pray to god every night for UT4
