I found the solution. I just need to disconnect from the internet... I guess I'll have to use the LAN button again

crysis 2 v1.0 update with launcher as it asks to.
copy over 1.1 exe crack and your done.

So I finally gave this a try. After finally getting a version that wasn't fucked with a virus I fired it up. I was pleasantly surprised that it runs pretty decent on my shitty computer on high at 1366x768.
But like everyone said, it seems pretty linear. I look at it sort of like a tech demo for the engine like the Doom games. Someone could make a damn good game with this engine.

You didn't see the image on the previous side. I let it update, but it cannot find the game. If I start it, it just starts updating again.
I didn't install the game in the default folder (I never do), and that's why probably the update manager cannot find the game...
But if I disconnect from the net the game works fine.
Anywho it's kinda boring, so I dk if I'll finish it any time soon...

It is linear. And there isn't even proper destructible environments. But overall I liked it, the sp campaign was probably better than the first one, basically because Crysis 1 had so shitty aliens and therefore lackluster late game.

i really enjoyed the aliens in crysis to be honest.. they changed up the combat and i enjoyed it.
crysis 2, the aliens are just better armored human grunts... the more i played, the more 'samey' everything got.
anywho... toooo lazy to go back through all the posts... did anyone here actually buy the super awesome deluxe set with the model and stylin backpack? and if they did, did they... can they.. post pics and what they thought about the quality n shit of the bits n pieces in the set?

crysis 2 is not better than modern warfare, no flippin way is it better than mw.... and to be honest, i wouldnt even say its better than mw2... sure they both have retarded stories, dialog and ridiculous sequences, but atleast mw2s batshit crazy scenarios were more fun than anything crysis 2 did.
crysis 2 definately is > black ops though. and the MOH reboot.

well, i didnt really believe it, but i had to try it myself... and yeah, you can just bullshit a serial and go play online. just wow.
wonder how easy it'll be for crytek to patch that. i mean if they didnt have the forsight to have the keys be unique, then how will they ever tell a real sold serial from a bullshitted one?
well whatever, played it online a bit... was ok i guess, but i can see myself getting bored of it pretty quickly...

I don't think many people got this game for the multiplayer.
That said, it isn't bad. It will be ruined promptly due to the fact that cheaters/griefers can't be dealt with though.

The maps are way too small in MP, cars with mounted guns anyone?
also most of em are even copied from the singleplayer campaign from what i've seen, simple rips because there is no inspiration for unique multiplayer maps?
Cod had the same shit, they indeed trying to follow the hype..
Overall it ain't bad, I like the extraction & assault modes besides Instant action.

indeed. because supporting the game and keeping promises is always high on cryteks 'to-do' list.
whoever they ban, im sure will find a way back in before long... crytek will give up before long without much of a fight, and the hackers will continue doing their shit.
hackers ruined the first games multiplayer. years later, same shit is happening.
crytek will only focus on the consoles, because its on the consoles that they can not afford for the game to fail. pc? meh...
re: small maps... yeah your right. its like 5 seconds youre running into something youve seen over and over and over again.
crysis 1 was a shitload of fun. big wide open maps, VEHICLES! oh man, tanks, helecopters, vtols, jeeps... having to storm bases.. was awesome trying to secure a base and you get there JUST ahead of a bunch of other guys from the other team, who come flying over a wall in a hummer, ending in a massive firefight...
shit, that was a fun ass game til the cheaters ruined it. i have some really fond memories of it.
...til teh cheaters ruined it....
the maps needed balancing though.. i found a way to grief the fuck out of people on the other team. found a way to basically get behind their base, with a hgh powered sniper rifle... theyd drop like ALL their points into buying a vtol, and JUST as it was coming out of the hanger, id headshot the guy waiting for it.

but i feel justified, because people in vtols were cunts themselves. those things were WAY fucking overpowered. but as usual, crytek never bothered to fix shit.
