It seems so! I tested with EdgeAA=1 and the other 2 options set 0 and there was no difference compared to the image I captured with all 3 AA types disabled.

I think we can conclude that the least AA you can enable is postMSAA set to 1 or 2 (I have tested it only on 2) and most people in this thread thought the remaining aliasing is only minor-moderate, so yeah:

postMSAA=2
edgeAA=0
FXAA=0

seems to be the best option.

Guess that depends on your personal preference. Your suggestion seems to be the best compromise between sharpness and jaggies. I disabled all AA and got an even sharper image but at the cost of more jaggies. Here are the results I got:

r_UseEdgeAA=0
r_PostMSAA=0
r_PostMSAAEdgeFilterNV=0
 Spoiler:

r_UseEdgeAA=0
r_PostMSAA=2
r_PostMSAAEdgeFilterNV=0
 Spoiler:

r_UseEdgeAA=3
r_PostMSAA=2
r_PostMSAAEdgeFilterNV=1

Well of course, it's my preference. I can't play the game with absolutely no AA, it looks terrible IMO.

you can notice it on the edges of the yellow containers, but thats about it, forget about those flag poles in the background they will look shit no matter what lol. Second screen looks to be the best comprimise to me, the hand looks sharper in the foreground, no blur applied to it?

postMSAA is for objects away from the camera
edgeAA is for objects close to the camera
FXAA is for the whole screen

Since the second image has only postMSAA enabled, there's no blur to the hand etc..

The description states that the PS3 version is less restricted for modding.

Until patch 1.2 gets cracked, I'm using Cheat Engine to get my nano points back (which get lowered every time I start the game).

Someone here found which addresses need to be modified to modify nano catalyst values:
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1815673

And I made simple Cheat Engine script that maps those addresses (you need version 6.0).

http://depositfiles.com/files/f71pvpnns

-start the game
-start the script
-select Crysis2.exe process
-after loading a save, change values for nano1 and nano2 (both should be set to same number) to any number you want

You can notice sometimes that these values can become some huge number. That's when nano points turned into negative number, which is in game still shown as 0.

Sure everything is fine... until you actually exit the game, and notice on next start that amount of nano catalyst is lower then before.

I even had a few times where loading into a different area actually zeroed down my points. Nevertheless, in the end I only had one ability that wasn't bought/activated.
