No, this is a different game in the series. I mean it is the original, you can say its a remake. But it feels like a whole new game.

well, been playing the game and it feels like the same game from the 90's
the graphics are a lil better, the vehicles are cool but other than that, this is a very old style of game...and when u have amazing team based military games, this one is just crap...nostalgic value yes...but the key question is, can u play through the first 4 missions without gettin bored and uninstalling?

Old style, yes. Singleplayer isnt the best. Its more of a warmup to introduce you into the multiplayer community. The Delta Force games are very good. You can choose between so many branches. The freedom is really good. But the problem is the anti-cheat system. Not sure what team based military games you mean now. The Battlefield series is just lame. So many ripoffs of that to. I have been enjoying Swat 4 though. God I love Delta Force. I used to make all these awesome maps. There was one map where it was a tropical paradise. You had spawn points in different locations. In the middle was a huge lake where motor boats were speeding by. You can jump on them and snipe Razz I also made cargo planes where you can snipe and jump out of. Fuckin' great. Than I built this one map where it was like a city. Than I made the exact Plaza from Die Hard movie.[/quote]

OK i agree with most guys here that ai is dumber then "#¤"#¤. But i love the maps. And if you are a df1 freak like me, you would love. For me DF1 was the first online game ever. And i must say seeing DF:X is like seeing a dream come truth. I never believed in my wildest dream that they will remake DF1.

naw, i was talking single player Smile
team based internet games are usually shit unless u really do have serious guys playin the game...good example, Americas Army...i mean, if u actually score points and get "honor" (ranking sys), ur fag team mates get all bent and accuse of cheating, ghosting etc...thats why i dont play online games really anymore...far to many 12 years olds with access to daddy's wallet

I don't know what you guys expect from this game. Yes the ai is dumb as a door but i don't think this game is intended for sp playing . Yes it has sp missions but this game is just DF1 over the Jo engine. I must say people who buy delta force are not buying for the sp they are buying for the multilayer part. If you have expectation from this game to be a good single player then your are in the wrong place. If you expect to have a lot of realism , then you are wrong again. What this game is MP=Fun. And let's be honest what do you guys expect from a 20 dollar game.

i dont recall a link hmmm Question

Thats why i usually stay away from online play
too many fuckin kids cheating
and it is kids as mature ppl would recognize that cheating takes away from the gameplay, when ur playin with others
games like EE2 and stuff, i like using resource cheats and shit and just building and conquering Smile

it seems to be novalogics policy to rush out games and release a patch on release-day. I cant remember a game from nova in the last two to three years that didnt have a patch on release-day or shortly after :/

I didnt really like the first DF, but i loved DF:LW, so i hope the newer engine might make the game a bit better

Delta Force Extreme still seems bugy in single player and Lan mode is disabled till you connect to NOVAWorld server online

Too bad if you want to play it at a LAN without a Internet connection ...

What a waste of money ... More like a crapy exp pack rushed out

No

Also you need a legit novaworld account with a legit delta force extreme key to create a lan game ...
