I couldnt find so far any site to buy and download the game as digital copy.
So either we will have to wait for a scene release here that can be soon or even late after the official release date. Or if some of us want to buy it to wait for it to get to stores and its USA only wich odsent help me a lot.
without spoiling anything, is this a game about supernatural stuff? I think i saw something about it.
without spoiling the story :
part 1 was about The Curse of Demonic possession of Gordon Family line ,and a failed reincarnation
part 2 was about finding who you are ,and about a cult of people that hunts and kills the Gordon Blood Line to hider the reincarnation of this Demonic Creature
Simply put, if you liked Gabriel Knight you will like this game
Part 3 begins where the last part ended "you are the Last of the Gordon blood Line" , guess now you will have to fight the demon or DIE
In the adventureshop the us site i see now you can buy and download the game and download it on the 04/11/2011 wich is today 18:00EDT time.
Thats about more 11 hours i think.
If you like gamersgate then in gamersgate.com you can pre order now black mirror 3 digital download version and the game release date is the 12 of april wich it is tonight.
From what Hfric mentioned above (EDIT: Was the other thread.) it uses a variant of SecuROM 8 which might be difficult / take time, until it's bypassed.
Goin Downtown hasn't had a scene release yet I think and it's been available for a week.
(Been thinking of pre-ordering this and Next Big Thing since I own the previous Black Mirror and the Runaway games, Gamersgate didn't have a pre-order option or price yet when I checked this morning though which I had waited for to compare pricing and other details though adventure-shop is usually OK, seems to be partially related to Metaboli.)

Patch 1.0.1 for BM3, fixes so the game will now start at midnight or something like that.
the thing is this game has Securom 8.3 with internet protection ... and as of now this protection was nothing as trouble for this game
here is that post ,
Why wasn't there a crack , well the thing is this game used a New protection system and IT'S still giving headaches those that bought this game legally. This new protection not only makes this game a unplayable mess (well thats the General opinion about the German version) but they had also serious server activation problems.
This brings me back to the Gabriel Knight 3 , there Sierra used a brand new SafeDisk protection that gave them only problems ...

We also wasted a few weeks trying to add copy protection. During the final push to ship, we repeatedly attempted to make Macrovision's SafeDisc product work with GK3. SafeDisc has a set of special (and we felt completely unnecessary) antihacking measures that got in the way of the game's execution. It heavily affected performance, dropping the frame rate to a third of its original speed and adding strange intermittent freezes of several seconds while the camera was moving. After getting nowhere with Macrovision's engineering department, we decided to ditch SafeDisc and roll our own (which took less than a day to do). This entire process wasted several weeks of our time and frustrated us all the more because, apart from this one remaining task, we were ready to ship the game. Lesson learned: If you are required to use copy protection, don't put it off until the last month, especially if it's SafeDisc. We weren't the first game to have severe problems working with SafeDisc and probably won't be the last, so if you're using this product be sure to do your homework and try it out well in advance of your ship date.
PS.there is a Scene version of the German "Goin Downtown" ... if the files didn't changed that much then why don't you use this crack on the Eng version ?
Seems like the full game uploaded on 10 of april the lenght of the video is about one hour or so. So i wonder where did he get the game in english from.
The video lenght is one hour and 22 minutes fully english.
So either there is somewhere a scene release few days ago and we dosent know about it or somehow he got a copy from a store or somewhere.
US pricing was better than EU pricing so I decided to get it (And Next Big Thing.)
Uses Tages with online activation, I like the game so far but it's pretty easy, even included a PDF walktrough this time as if the auto-puzzle solver from BM2 wasn't enough already.
Pre-rendered cutscenes are a bit basic but the 3D characters hold up pretty well among the 2D like painted environments, as said though puzzles are pretty easy to figure out but it might change, game is 3.6 GB and English only, various pre-rendered cinematics take up some of this space but are in .BIK and already pretty compressed and likely low-resolution as well.
