Does anyone else experience crashes when in sea battle people start shooting at your Black ship.
It seems to happen every time I try it.

using darthmod + some other mods and its actually becoming quite entertaining lol.

i still can't get the clan intros , with flt over sid unpacked and even with Shogun2_Up2_v1.0.0_build_3272.0_Crack-thegfW.rar
maybe i missed something?

On the legit version at least it seems mods trigger the copy protection, giving the unauthorised copy error around turn 50/60.

Ok, I fixed my intro movies and I'm guessing all other movies too (haven't played enough to check yet.)
Used p2p + Shogun2_Up2_v1.0.0_build_3272.0_Crack-thegfW + Total.War.ShoGun.2.MOVIE.ADDON-KaOs
Its a big file though, around 2.5gb-ish

what was the sizes of the movies pack files before the movie.addon-kaos ?

Funny thing is, they're the same... Didn't get to check exactly but a glimpse at the file sizes revealed they were the same...

I was into RTW and a heavily modded M2TW with some mod called Stainless Steel I think (didn't play the earliest TW games), but I didn't really like the last ones (focus on guns, generally unfinished feel of the game, ultra crappy AI, AI not being able to do important gameplay functions properly, like defending and attacking fortresses, invading islands or just moving armies around, and tons of things in battles).
Any guess whether I'll like this one?

You should definitely try it. Shogun 2 is much more polished for a vanilla. AI is better but not spectacular. They do use invasion forces though, so watch your back. And arrows > guns. The only thing holding you back is the setting, not everyone are keen on Japanese history. Oh and compared to M2TW the map is a lot smaller and there are not that many different units. I very much like the game though.

they should make a total war on chinese setting. The sheer size and complex history would make it a fun game.
come to think of it, i never saw WWII shooter games about fighting in chinese mainland, it was always Europe and Pacific war.
