yea i dont understand i m also past the 40% mark, whats all the fuss with the rain, i m nor a hardcore racer either, the most i can manage are all the licenses in gran turismo games and a couple of high class races, but its not like i can drive through blind.
i guess difficulty is also like a taste or opinion,
for example most ppl of course say that dmc3 is way harder than god of war,
well i found god of war on hard mode definitely harder than dmc3 on hard mode.
see overall, dmc3 is a game you can get much better at than god of war, dmc3 has so many moves and combos you can put together in a smooth motion and the moves are fast enough that they push your skills to the limits, while god of war is kinda limited, you cant evade fast enough, no matter if you re skilled or not, and the moves are fairly slow and few compared to dmc3, while the enemies arent really slower than in dmc3, so in total, i say god of war is harder (i prefer dmc3 over gow, sure gow has better graphics and no loading times, but its way too short and too limited in almost everything compared to dmc3, but just my opinion).
same thing about mc3 here, pallebrun might find it hard driving through rain, i dont, on the other hand there were many san andreas missions that many ppl found easy and me hard, and vice versa.
skill isnt general, moreover you can be good at some really specific things in games and suck in lets say hitting a button twice.

yea just go and play some burnout 3 and you ll instantly forget that there ever was an mc3
