i was close to installing this game but decided it wasn't worth it. i'll pass for now. i'm just not in the mood for space games. i would rather play around with udk than this game.

i tried this out for 4 minutes. omfg this has got to be the worse looking piece of garbage space game ever that i've tried in some time.
the graphic is non-existent. you're basically looking at a star map clicking on square picture tiles and directing low-res pictures around.
uninstall immediate!

But.... but... he played it for 4 minutes and I'm SURE he played it at 2560x1600!! Obviously those 4 minutes are more than enough to gauge the depth and complexity of a 4X title!!
I worked on the tutorial the other night of Armada 2656 Supernova and got owned by the race I was supposed to destroy. Obviously I am getting too old for 4x games to the point I am losing during tutorials. Going to try again tonight but change up the tactics. I didn't build enough spaceships to defend the planets I was taking over and here the AI shows up with about 30 and wipes one of my planets and then systematically heads for my other ones. I held of his assault on Earth, but at a cost to my main fleet that was stationed there.
I have to say that the research tree is lengthy and there are a lot of 'what should I research next?' questions. I need to pay more attention to the lower left hand corner of the screen when items complete as clicking the "End Turn" button is almost automatic constantly. One thing that does annoy me if the other race that wants to trade with me every single time. That gets pretty annoying.
All in all, it is a fun game and more in depth than SoaSE. I also bought Star Ruler last week on Steam so I have that queued up next.
