There's a bunch of other games there with free keys -- however only Dark Messiah is Steam, as far as I could tell.

Yeah, you can get a key for every game from that list, as long as they have keys. Thing is I needed a game on steam to be able to add friends and I knew that you could get a key for Dark Messiah Multiplayer a long time ago. I was suprised to see that you can still get, I just needed to search for a polish proxy because the old one didn't work anymore, but this one is exactly that one with another name. Also a "no problem" for all of you.

Yes, I found it by accident. It received very little exposure, much like any game in 2004 coming from an small european country, with little funds for marketing.
It belongs to the rare, but great real time tactics genre. Loved it.

I don't know. Nexus was certainly a decent game, but it was "meant" to be Imperium Galactica 3, a game I'd much rather have had.

Only one key is Steam (afaik) and that's Dark Messiah. The rest are all in-game/installation CD keys - predominantly for multiplayer access.
