Might have been a little paranoid with the spoiler tag, but better safe than sorry, i guess.
 Spoiler: | I've found that as long as you don't play as you would normally fight another player most of the fights against the bosses - goro, kintaro, kahn - are fairly easy ( i.e. spam some special power, or cross jump and wait for the uppercut ) but i'm having trouble on the Kung Lao vs Quan chi and Shang Tsung fight. |

Dont know why are some people complaining. I havent played a MK game since Ultimate MK3 on sega genesis, and just grabed this and beat tournament on medium. Died more at shang tsung than goro and kahn.

I haven't experience that. The Shang Tsung-Quan Chi duo (where they comment how no one would be able to stop their deadly alliance  ) was quite difficult for me. I don't remember any breaks in that one - had to do it numerous times until I finally did win and my d-pad thumb was sore.

My copy came from Amazon today... played thru the first 1/3 of the story I'm assuming and love it so far.
One thing in terms of art direction, I wish all the characters didn't look so 'roided out. And Sonya is fuckin' fugly (fuckin fuckin ugly?) Baraka looks too cartoony too. I remember getting nightmares of him as a kid when I played MK2. Ah well.
Anyone else notice Johnny Cage looks like Duke Nukem with brown hair ?

You can always increase its difficulty from the options menu if you feel you're breezing through.

With Liu Kand it wasn't. At the end with | Spoiler: | Raiden |
it was almost impossible. I spent more then an hour to beat him.

just finished story mode on hard, not that hard though. took me maybe about 5-6 hours i think. but ok for a fighting game

How come x-ray attack for some dudes is unblockable and does 40% damage and for others its not and only does 20% ? Not fair i tell ya !! not fair!!

You can interrupt them with jabs or by jumping over them..
Depends on the character.
