I'm probably more excited about the fact that this game has system link play than anything else. Don't get me wrong, so far I'm loving the humor, atmosphere, and gameplay. I just don't understand why more developers don't include system link, so when I see a game that has it, I get this warm fuzzy feeling all over.

only the beta dash has the patch thing, also it overwrites your firmware on the drive so when you go to the new dash you'll have to reflash your drive

As much as I love Split-screen for bashing my friends in the same room, I enjoy having the entire screen to myself while the wife plays with me from the other room on a different tv. Not to mention the fact that this opens up Xlink Kai play.

Just traded that crysis 2 in, got 24 quid back.
So got 42 squid for this game now when it's released in the u.k tomoz.
All the reviews are saying it's mint so going to try it on ps3.

My guess is that they're fixing the SP-INT/PROD-QA exploits from Rebug. Probably just bad timing that it happened to coincide on the launch day of Portal 2.
Yeah, I don't think that all the Portal 2 gamers caused an overload. The game is not THAT popular. But still very bad timing from Sony, not thinking about stuff like this... But this is just the way they treat their customers...

I just read that you CAN actually play Coop with only ONE PS3 version with PS3/PC.
I can't try this out myself right now, because I can't sign into PSN. But it seems to be very simple and plausible too. I will try it out as soon as PSN works again.

I gotta say this game is awsome , i been playing it all weekend and also been doing the co-op with my son , we was up till 3am last night and the night before playing it , truly a great game and well worth the ££.

it's one thing to call the player stupid when he/she is, or comment on other things..
but to attack the player, who can potentially be quite young, over issues he or she has no control over..
ofcourse it's a joke and targeted at the game's character, but if it rings true to the player, it's still hurtful
it doesn't make me hate the character more - it makes me hate the game creators, as it broke the fourth wall
it's all the more weird knowing how fat their boss is.. i'm guessing he's adopted too
