DA2 is shit, but on this i have to agree with cobALT. What you say xDBS is like we can't complain about anything in any game. If you dislike something go read a book, watch a movie or play some other genres. You know, a game like this could just aswell been without 24089403 enemies every 4 minutes.
.... Uh, no. I have a right to complain about video games becoming interactive movies... and you took exactly what I said, and reversed on too me...
i merely stated what it could be and personally would prefer. I don't go telling people to go do other stuff because they don't agree on a concept in a game.
Edit: i feel i have to be more precise to not look like a complete retard. I want this to have long cutscenes as i personally love them and good detective work where you actually have to work for your success and not have the game point out to you every single detail.

Maybe some people want to play this for the detective/investigation part and not for the action/shooting segments. I remember some people bitching when they announced the action sequences in LA Noir.
As long as they give you the option to chose, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Then maybe they should play adventure games, or possibly read a mystery novel.
the thing is they crated a adventure game with action sequences on consoles ... see it as Larry's/Police Quest/Blue Force/Heart of China action sequences that could be skipped
I play video games for gameplay, not to skip them to watch a 3D story. So you can facepalm all you want.
This shows how little you know about LA Noire. The detective sequences are gameplay, not cutscenes. Maybe I don't want to spend 20 min cover shooting AI's, maybe I just want to enjoy the investigation side of the game. For example the turret sequences in Dead Space are horrible, I wouldn't have mind a skip option on those.
Besides, they are putting that as an option, if you don't want you use it, you don't have to. This is actually the reason I'm faceplaming; that you're complaining about a feature that is optional. O_O

I mean no offense, but you like DA2, I can't even see how that's possible
Because all the cool kids say so, am I right? I couldn't give a flying fuck about the flock effect on this, or any other forum for that matter. I played DA2 and enjoyed it for what it was - a pretty ok hack'n'slah (mind you I said hack'n'slash) - instead of bitching moaning for 2 months about it.
Times are changing, they have for a decade now. And games change too, and guess what, as long as games are made for profit the ones making them are going to cater their products to the wider audience, and that's not you or me but the masses -> casual gamers. And lets face it, we asked for it; 15 years ago we wanted games to be more popular and now they are. So you either deal with it and enjoy what you can, or bitch about it on forums. Like the cool kids.

I'm just spurting facts bro, DA2 wasn't even a good hack n slash if you ask me. At least GoW3 had varied Environments.
I don't bitch, just call it how it is . Enjoy what you enjoy, but it wont stop me from calling out the game on what it really is.
the thing many ppl cant seem to to understand is that some games HAVE To be interactive movies they r designed for that.Take for exaple MGS series tons of movies little and dull gameplay but the game has millions of fans. Why? Simple because of the story telling, the atmosphere and the characters. The characters crawl under ur skin and u care for them and u play the game just to reach the next cutscene and see what happens. Now everyone will say go watch a movie.Yeah i watch movies but in 15 hours game there is more time to paint the characters to make the player care for them, more time to tell a good story, a story and moments that will stick with u long time after u beat the game. The gaming industry needs more of these games. And ofc u have to be a smart gamer and always know what u want.If u want mindless kiliing at a given time u will have to stay away from games like LA noire, cuz u will be angry at the game not giving u the opportunity to slaughter entire army
L.A. Noire includes subtle in-game help systems that are designed to subtly aid players in their investigations. Those systems, Nelson said, can be turned off. So while the average L.A. Noire player might want there to be music playing at a crime scene and rely on the fact that the score only quiets when all the scene's clues have been found, the expert player can turn that off.
Sounds very good to me, as the difficulty, or the lack thereof, was my biggest concern.
If the new disk thing is default by then, it will. This is a big ass fucking release and they will have the latest security measures if you can call it that.
