Luckily it seems that they fixed most of the annoying bugs; the changelog doesn't say anything about the in-game performance/optimizations though (the promised a 10% boost in terms of framerate, hope it's true, since it would be extremely useful for me  )

I haven't tested the patch myself but the comments at NoGrip are very positive in this regard  |

Need to install the patch and start playing again, very little time lately
Does EADM install this for me, or is it so bad that it doesn't even do that? Definitely not a match for Steam, that's for sure

The EXE doesn't get updated so no, you can use the original crack.
I didn't see any changes performance wise (unfortunately), although, and this is important, handling seems to have undercome an overhaul. It feels much much better now, gives you good enough handling to enjoy the great sense of speed and attachment by doing 300 while in Helmet Cam.
I'm starting to like this game again, if only it played better on my rig so that I could get rid of the jaggies.
EDIT: Fuck me, I just tried the Koenigsegg CCX in Helmet Cam. What an experience. I mean, I didn't even get to the minimum time required, but I've never felt such sense of speed and danger in a game. Amazing.

With cracked version,patch did not change the exe and game start after patching.But...after exe os old one,so game is still 1.0 and no changes work.Thats why you did not see any chaneges.Waiting for crack...

EDIT:looks like the files that cuase the crash was not involve the patch...it was no intro fix i installed to kill the anoying opening intro, but...i guess i will have to live with anoying intro insted of non working game:) |

Exactly, it seems there are some problems with the patch, which doesn't update the .exe on certain versions/configurations:

Many of the included fixes don't work if the .exe is not updated to the new version (also some graphical bugs such as black grass could appear) |

I want to share my thoughts about the game after some more playing. First of all bought new cpu- newest i5 and still performance is quite awful(only +5 to 10 fps) but playable-fucking ati cards. But the game itself is a fucking blast- sooooo much fun soooo much emotions damn no other racing game have this really(drift is hard for me-but once mastered, is great). If the next patch will fix the performance on ati or ati/amd will release a new driver i will buy it. Awesome game but with many flaws.

this game was installed on my drive weeks ago and i played abit and found it like meh...but today after i installed the patch and i am not sure it did anything, but i do feel that the preformance are better , i also had problem with my wheel and took me a while to find out that the power adapter is bad...will have to replace it tomorrow, but i found a way to play this evening and i like the game very much:) it is harder than the first shift and feels good..it is a physical tension to hold the wheel during a race, the wheel reacts all the time and do not let you rest even for a sec:) i gave the wheel profile some basic recomanded settings i have found (i think on this thread few pages back), and it feels good so , so far i think it is fine replacment for the original shift.

There is a RUS repack that includes the 1.01 patch but I don't know if it uses a new cracked exe or the old 1.00.
EDIT: as I suspected it uses the old RELOADED exe.
