I also changed the last number and got right on. You can change the pass in game options. If I remember right the first num i picked was no good, then the second got no error message and I got on ghost server first try.
We need more people playing, could be fun. Although I find it hard to see sometimes with sh*t flying everywhere.

nope, tried that and everyone a tried I got invalid cd key error, are you using the key included from the devil leak?

You tried changing it in the client options on the browser? Well thats what I did, and even though it gave me an invalid cd-key error I could still join all the unoffical servers. I kept on owning this guy in unarmed combat so he left.
The problem is that I want to try slomo, and non of the unoffical servers have that.

Tried that just now with no luck still, can't join any games or even host a game. I've tried everything I could with no luck, guess theres nothing left to do but uninstall and delete this sh*t. I'll just have to wait till more keys come out on fileplanet or till its officially released.

i dont think soft shadows are supported in this beta right? or else maybe my video card is just a homo. I enable soft shadows and it causes a huge slowdown and also removes all shadows...o well.
this game is hot btw..slow mo is so much fun but noone every uses it..Gawsh..

with soft shadows off, the game plays very smoothly with everything on max. i guess because it's a beta. game looks really nice though.

I can play on all the servers except the Monolith ones, but can't host a game for the life of me. I've put the Gamespy IP in the HOSTS file, but still won't work
game runs beautifully on my sys btw, w/ softshadows Off.
if softshadows are on, the display darkens like crazy, probably because ATI cards don't support PS3.0

I got this game up and running without too many troubles. (just changed one letter of the serial key)
Í have a LAN this weekend without internet. I was wondering if it's possible to play this on a lan?

I pre-ordered the game and the beta for the pre-orders takes place from the 14th till I think the 25th. They said I'll receive an e-mail about it. Still haven't yet.

the beta is on... u can download the client here http://promos.vugames.com/fearpresell/ and install the client using one of the keys u found in the preorder kit. u should have 6 keys... at least here is a dvd with 6 keys and works perfectly

i managed to join a server yesterday cus one person had the same version as me
is there a 1.2 patch out?? and where can i get it

I ordered it online. I didn't get that kit. They said they would e-mail me with the keys. They didn't. Damn gamestop.
