Well, I'm actually enjoying this game. Combat is a bit easy most of the time and it's boring to kill groups and groups of the same enemies, but that's just me. Love the story "quest for the holy grail" kind of story and that always intrigues me.

It has local coop, drop in/out; just turn on a second gamepad and pres start. Though the moment you do, it'll freak you out. It has the most hideous split screen I've ever seen.
And on that note, who's the morron on the dev team that thought splitscreen is the way to go with this game? It's a friggin action game, you don't use split screen for that! FFS, someone should show those morons the LotR action games on PS2, that's how you make coop in a game like this!
Guess I'll have to wait for DS3 and LotR War in the North for my action coop needs... Sad

Ohh, and the game is horrible. Horrible menus, horrible controls, horrible visuals, horrible sound, horrible voice acting, horrible dialogs, horrible animations, and stupid looking characters.
Playing chapter 1 felt like I was back in 2004 playing Knights of the Temple... only worse.

Same here dude. If you haven't tried them and really don't have anything to play, I'd recommend you try NIER, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom or Knights Contract; they're budget titles so don't go in with high expectations, but they have a certain charm to them - at least I for one enjoyed them. NIER being by far the best of the bunch, imo. Majiin has a more fairytale, kinda ICO/SotC, vibe to it and Knights Contract is a decent action adventure, witch I'm currently playing. Compared to The Last Templar all of them are AAA titles.

Never heard of Nier , I saw couple of gameplay vids for Knights Contract and I played Majin. Tnx for your recommendations , maybe I will find something interesting to kill time in those two.

Well, personally First templar shits all over at least Knights Contract. Omg that must be the worst fucking bullshit i've played in a long time. So i'll just state the obvious as people seem to fail to get it. Different people have different tastes, so just try it and see. I thoughroughly enjoyed it. Much of what cobALT said is true, but it's still a great game if you don't expect every new game to be the best game you ever tried.

Sure, I get that.

Why do people bash KC so much? What is so bad about KC that makes other bad games look great by comparison?
I really don't see how this pos templar game is better that KC - a game that actually has an interesting setting, combat, story, voice acting and animations in it.

I don't, I actually have medium to low expectations for games these days, and with all that I still think The Last Templar is pure and utter shit. I hope the dev studio goes bankrupt and never makes another game again.

I haven't tried it since release, but what i do remember. Uninteresting story, retarded looking character (first templar got the same) jap style game, and i really, really hate most jap games. I guess, either you like a quest for the holy grail or you don't.

Finished this today and I gotta say it was pretty good. Kept me interested to the very end and puzzle levels were a nice change of pace.

Gfx were of course bit outdated, but I thought the voice acting was good enough and so was the combat.

Solid game overall. Smile

Ahh, ok. See I played a lot of those in the Dreamcast/PS2 era, and I'm especially fond of the Berserk anime, and berserk like settings - dark medieval age. Guess that's why I'm not that bothered about it. Smile
I also enjoy a quest for the holy grail but the execution is so bad in Last Templar that... ughh, I'm better off waiting for The Cursed Crusade. Razz

[whisper] It's not that good. [/whisper]
The SW ones were ok, but at some point they would start to drag a bit, tough the last one seems more diverse. But the last LEGO game I enjoyed a lot was LEGO Batman, played it in coop with my little nephew, and I think I enjoyed it more than the little guy. The vehicle levels were tons of fun. grinhurt
Think I miss LEGO Racer. Sad

If you're talking about The First Templar, try it on PC first. You definitely don't want to waste a verb on this.

I thought Nier was fucking awesome. The best game soundtrack ever imo. Also really liked the story. But as all japanese games, its kinda fucked up :/

Yeah, especially loved the OST in that game and the story was friggin' great. Also design wise, great boss fights. Hope it did well to justify a sequel. One of the few gems of last year, glad to see more people enjoyed it.

On that note, El Shaddai can't launch soon enough. Very Happy
