apparently local store im getting the game from, announced that, the release date has changed BACK to may 17th.
so now if i discover that the game WONT be censored in NZ, ill be pretty darn happy...

I think the Dev's said it wouldn't be censored anywhere. It was in one of the QA sessions IIRC.

The way I understood it, is that all sex and nudity is in the "censored" version. But in one specific quest in the normal version of the game, a woman has sex with you as a reward for doing that quest. This was changed in the "censored" version so that the sex isn't a reward (the woman doesn't act as a "whore"). The actual sex act and nudity of the quest will still be there.

Actually the OFLC board members aren't all that old surprisingly. Mostly 30 and 40-somethings, but there are two 20-somethings there as well. The problem is not age-related.
As far as the acceptable for everyone else thing goes, their belief is that it's unacceptable for everyone, they just don't have the jurisdiction to implement global bans (but you can bet your left nut they would if they could).
