I don't know if I have same 1.4 cracked release (crack size 67.9MB), but with it, entering and exiting the game didn't led to losing more catalyist compared to 1.0/1.1 version.

I was replaying some of the missions with the 1.4 ali crack:
1) Lost 16k catalyst I had, getting new catalyst, the counter stayed at 0, so it's the same as before - solution: don't quit the game! end-game spoilers:  Spoiler: | Catalysts are inconsequential anyway, as you can get 20k in the last mission, good design  |
2) When I died replaying the Lab Rat mission, I lost all of my attachments (this was new to me). Quitting and selecting the mission again, I was able to select them all. Losing them, getting to a checkpoint and thereby saving, quitting and selecting a mission again, I was able to select them.
Not sure about the melee bug, never used melee that much, except for hoppers.
Attachment still missing and I'm still stuck at 99.76%. But, hey, as long as there's no achievement for it, console players won't whine for a fix, so I guess it's all good. |

Yeah, 67.9MB. I might have lost catalyst before, but even gathering more in 1.4, the counter still stays at 0.
Edit: The multi says incorrect serial or something like that. Haven't really bothered.

did you create a new profile after you patched
from what ive heard if you created a profile with 1.0/1.1 the bug will still be there even if you patch it up to 1.2/1.4

I'm not playing again with 1.4, but I did get the bug with a new profile in 1.2.
Edit: Yeah, I was using the old 1.1 crack. Damn BCG and iND.

I think you are wrong, because Crytek hasn't talked at all about future patches and especially what the DX11 patch will include AFAIK.

Quality is subjective but it got good reviews and generally the new console audience liked it.
As for the sales let's be realistic here; just because Crysis 1 eventually sold 3 million units on PC, it doesn't mean that Crysis 2 has to sell 9 (3x3) million units to call it successful. 
If it surpasses 5 million units, it'll be a great success.

I hate the console arcade crap they put into this games SP part. I just cant enter the stream to disable the bio weapon, Get killed every time. That part of the game should be taken out of the PC version. If I wanted push that button quickly game-play I would buy a console.

The derp configuration was accidental, because I listed the games in order from the "best" to the worst, IMO
Of all the three Resistance is the one that I would like to try the most, but it will probably never happen because of the FPS+controller limitation.
Killzone is worse, since it was designed as an "halo-killer". 
And Halo, well, do I really need to say anything else about the "greatest FPS ever"?

You know.. of all the games that could make proper use of Kinect, a first-person melee title ranks right there at the top. Those are the sort of games this system was made for. It's one step closer to VR, if you ask me.
