Naw, my old A500 and A600 only had one floppy drive and no HDD. I'm talking about my beast; the A1200 with a 20MB HDD, internal floppy, and daisy chained external floppies Very Happy I really miss the miggy days... Sad

n00b question but its been a while since I've followed the 360 scene. I bought a cheap fat 360 (old VGA model) a long time ago, and the guy who sold it to me gave me a boot disc to allow "backups" to work. I haven't updated the firmware over XBL since the last "Alan Wake" DLC came out.

With "L.A. Noire" coming out, should I hook up my 360 back to the Net and update to the newest dashboard? Is it safe? I don't even care if I have to buy "LA Noire"... I'm just curious if M$ can detect I have a flashed console and ban me from playing the game retail.

No one still knows for sure what gets you busted. If you just want to get the newest dash it will probably be on the disc itself when you go to play. You can also download it and install it offline. Might want to look into the AP2.5 protection that is added into the latest dash to see how it will/won't affect you.
